Diapers and Revolutionaries
·
Published 6/7/2023With mischievous cunning, a group of oppressed boys launch an unexpected revolution against the oppressive Mrs Conway, a tyrannical cruel teacher at Rainbow Daycare Academy who enforces a rule of diaper-wearing inequality - only to be challenged by a new teacher with a mission to reclaim their right to equality and freedom.

"I'm going to need you to go get the boys for me," Mrs. Conway said in her usual sweet tone, walking out of the staff room with a stack of papers in her hand.
"Yes, ma'am, I'll get them right now," Nora quickly replied as she stood from the couch and walked over to the door. She could hear all the other teachers laughing in the room, some at their desks doing paperwork, others haphazardly hanging around talking about how their kids were doing in class. She was already late for her shift with the little scamps, but it was the last time she'd have to do Mrs. Conway's bidding. Not that it was hard work or anything like that - just humiliating. At least there weren't any little boy-diaper boys this time; they had been switched out a month ago, and Nora was one of a few lucky teachers who hadn't had to deal with them since then...until today.
Mrs. Conway's voice echoed through the hallways as Nora made her way to the boys' classrooms. She wasn't usually so loud - if she didn't want her orders heard by everyone she spoke to them individually. Nora had been working at Rainbow Daycare Academy for nearly two years now; Mrs. Conway had moved here about six months after she started, and on her first day she decided that Nora would be her favorite teacher. It wasn't exactly difficult - not many of these teachers were particularly kind or thoughtful towards each other - but with each passing week Nora was finding herself becoming more and more uncomfortable with Mrs. Conway's requests and demands.
The boys were already in line when Nora opened up their classroom door and walked inside; they were four rows of five children each, all wearing blue t-shirts and khaki pants or shorts depending on what season it was outside (during summertime they wore bathing suits). The row closest to the door was always occupied by only one boy - Sebastian - who Nora always had trouble getting into line without messing up his hair or accidentally touching his face when grabbing his collar to pull him along with the rest of them. Sebastian always seemed a bit different than the other children too - he spoke up when others wouldn't, gave them advice if they seemed confused about something, always knew what he was supposed to do before being told...Nora never liked him much because of that, but she did admire his determination and resilience in standing his ground against Mrs. Conway's unfair rules while still not angering her as much as Jonathan did when he protested against them as often as possible (which ended up being almost every day).
"Alrighty young gentlemen! Let's go!" Nora shouted once everyone had taken their places behind their desks; Sebastian sat in his usual spot where he could see everything going on around him but stay out of everyone else's way if needed - he didn't like being touched by random people like most of the other boys did either. "Mr. Michaels is sick today so we're gonna be taking care of you little ones again! Since we don't have your teacher today you'll all be following me at my own pace! Come on now, let's go!" She waved her arms up at them excitedly before turning back around and walking off towards the door leading into the hallway again; all the little boys followed after her obediently behind their desks just like always, except for Sebastian who got up from his desk and walked over towards hers instead before sitting down directly next to it instead so he could watch what was going on through the window in it instead.
"Sebastian...you know you can't sit there," Nora said as she turned around to look at him, hoping to make him move away from there before anyone noticed him but knowing it wouldn't work nonetheless; Sebastian never listened to anyone else unless he really wanted to do something else instead (which wasn't very often). "Go sit down somewhere else." He simply shook his head at her before looking back forward again through his window without saying anything else; one of these days she would catch him doing things like this and report him to Mrs. Conway, but then again most of these kids crawled over every rule set forth by their teachers sooner or later anyway...she might as well give it a break until after this week where she would probably be fired anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways...
"You know you can't do that," someone mumbled behind her just loud enough for Sebastian to hear; he quickly looked over towards them in surprise before looking back ahead again through his window at whatever Nora showed him next. Curious about what Nora showed him, Nora turned around and looked behind herself at whoever had talked; Jonathan was standing directly behind her with his arms crossed and an angry glare directed at Sebastian instead of himself like he usually did whenever speaking with another teacher about something he didn't like about this place. "You should tell him how stupid he looks."
