He had just gone through an emotional rollercoaster and all he wanted to do was lay down, close his eyes for a few minutes, and sleep. His head was swimming with thoughts and feelings that were difficult to describe, but he couldn't get the giant smile off of his face.

The two were sitting in the back of the cab they had flagged down, talking quietly amongst themselves.

"Well, I think we did okay," said Jack. "For a first time."

"Yeah, I guess..." Marie said, pensively. "I was kind of hoping we'd be able to at least get out of there before anyone noticed."

"Well... you know what they say about hope."

Marie let out a sigh. "Yeah."

"Good thing no one got hurt," Jack said, trying to change the subject. "We got lucky that nobody got shot."

"Yeah..." Marie said again. She stared out the window as the cab pulled up next to them on the street. "You see that girl when she ran into me?" she continued after a moment. "She looked like she was about ready to cry."

Jack looked over as well. "Oh yeah... You're right." He paused for a moment, then spoke up again: "She did look pretty freaked out."

Marie nodded in response. "I'm just glad everyone was okay... I don't want people getting hurt because of us." Her voice trailed off as she started wondering whether or not it actually was their fault after all. A moral dilemma is always tough to deal with when you're just starting out in life.

The cab driver stopped at a red light and glanced back at them before speaking up: "So uh... Did you guys rob this bank today?" He asked casually while looking at them in his rear-view mirror.

Marie and Jack looked at each other nervously before looking back at the driver with shocked expressions on their faces which quickly gave way to smiles once they realized why he asked the question. They both chuckled nervously before Jack replied: "No dude, we're just school kids on a field trip here." He looked over at Marie and smiled warmly at her before turning back towards the driver and continuing: "We're just playing around..."

The two teenagers stood in front of the bank lobby's massive wooden double doors with their hands cuffed behind their backs while waiting for police officers to arrive so they could be taken into custody. They were visibly shaken by what had happened in there: They had been tied up by bank robbers whilst visiting the bank for a field trip from their school; they had been forced to empty drawers full of money into bags held by robbers who were waving guns around; they had even been forced to watch as one of their fellow students got pistol whipped for trying to make a run for it - all so that those same robbers could escape with the cash without being caught by law enforcement officers who arrived only moments too late once Marie and Jack managed to untie themselves from their restraints using some tools brought along with them from the classroom where their school trip started that day; once outside, Marie and Jack alerted officers who were already patrolling nearby on foot patrol; within minutes of hearing Marie's cries for help, officers quickly figured out what was happening inside the building; more officers arrived on scene seconds later; backup soon followed; Marie and Jack were taken into protective custody away from danger; weapons were drawn; shots were fired inside the building; suspects escaped while firing back at pursuing officers...

The cab driver turned around and took another look at them through his rear-view mirror: "Are you guys like... super heroes or something?" He asked curiously while trying not to laugh too hard himself.
