The next few hours flew by pretty fast after we all got dressed up in our new clothes for school picture day. Even Dad couldn't stop smiling as we gathered at our living room window to watch Mom park our car in front of our house before getting out of it with Sammy's mom Mrs. Green who lived across the street from us. They were loaded down with big colorful bags full of snacks and drinks they'd brought over earlier as well as their matching outfits that were identical to ours except for their sizes written on them. And boy did they look good! I bet they'll be making the perfect postcard from school too! Just like mine will be once I get it back after Picture Day today!
Then again, maybe not if I get any dirt, ooze, slime or any other kind of gross stuff on it after we play outside today during lunch break! Oh well...I'm sure it'll be worth it anyway! After all...we're gonna have lots of fun after lunch! And who knows? Maybe we'll even make someone's perfect postcard from school too? We've gotta try anyways! That's Rule number one hundred forty six according to Dad: You can never be too careful about remembering rules or you'll forget about having fun on Picture Day!
