"Marge, I'm going to need you to carry this load from the hardware store to the house. You're looking at this wrong, it's not that heavy", said Homer as he slowly dragged a large bag of nails and screws across the road.
"Yes, but you never let me help you do things like this anymore." Said Marge with a frown on her face as she looked at him in his half-drunk state.
"Oh, right. I'm sorry Marge, but I don't want you getting hurt", he said while continuing to drag the bag of nails behind him.
"Homer, I'm pregnant, I won't get hurt. Besides, even if I did get hurt you'd heal me right away." Said Marge as she gently rubbed her growing belly.
"Yeah, well..." Homer stopped for a moment and stared at his wife's belly before shaking his head and finishing his sentence "it is still my job as your husband to protect you from all harm." He continued dragging the bag of nails and screws towards the house.
Marge sighed as she picked up the small carton of paint cans and followed behind him. She really wanted to help him but she could tell that he wouldn't let her no matter what she said so she decided to just follow quietly behind him.
They walked quietly for about ten minutes before they finally made it up the front steps of their front porch. As they were walking up the steps Marge noticed that Homer was starting to pant heavily, sweat dripping off of his face making it look like he had just taken a shower in his clothes.
Marge put down the box of paint cans and ran up to Homer saying "Homer! What's wrong? Are you okay?" She put her hand on his forehead to feel for a fever but instead felt how hot he was underneath his skin.
"I'm fine Marge", he said as he put down the bag of nails and screws "I just haven't been feeling very good lately. It must be some kind of stomach flu or something." He tried to stand up straight but ended up stumbling forward and landing flat on his face right in front of Marge's feet.
She quickly bent down next to him asking "Do you want me to heal you?" while putting her hand on his back hoping that would snap him out of whatever it was that was happening to him. He didn't respond so she repeated herself while shaking him "Do ya want me to heal yah?" Still no response. She carefully rolled him over onto his back so that she could see if he was breathing or anything else that could tell her what might have happened but when she rolled him over she saw a puddle of what looked like blood under his head on their porch floor boards.
She shook him again saying "Homer! Homer wake up!" No response again so Marge started getting scared thinking maybe he had died from whatever ailment caused all this blood and heat in his body so she decided to try healing him like always whenever he got sick or injured by touching one of her fingers in a certain place on his neck that usually worked when ever he got hurt somewhere on his body during work or when Moe's bar challenged them into various battles with other friends groups around town but no matter where she touched on his neck there was no response whatsoever still even after trying different places on his neck too while repeatedly yelling "Homer! Wake up! Can ya hear me!?" He didn't budge or make any kind of movement whatsoever so after some time passed trying everything possible Marge finally gave up hope thinking that maybe Homer had died or something causing her whole world around her to fall silent with no noise whatsoever until...
The sound of someone slurping loudly could be heard somewhere behind her causing Marge to turn around quickly only to find someone standing behind her who looked exactly like herself except for one thing: Her skin was green unlike what hers looked like which was pinkish red like most human skin colors are if that makes sense at all *shrug*. The green-skinned person who looked exactly like Marge except for being green looked down at Homer lying flat on the floor with a dumbfounded expression plastered across their face then turned back towards Marge saying "So... Is this your man?" The voice sounded exactly like hers except for being voiced deeper than expected which caused some slight confusion within Marge's mind as she stood there dumbfounded wondering if this green-skinned person really was talking about Homer who looked exactly like her besides being big blue eyes and having gray hair covering most part of his head although living with Flanders in Springfield probably wasn't helping much in keeping Homer's hair color nice and healthy either but now wasn't the time for such thoughts as this green-skinned person continued talking "He's kinda cute ya know? How'd you manage ta land a guy like 'im?" The voice sounding more feminine than masculine making it even harder for Marge's mind to process what was going on here right now but after several seconds passed during which nothing happened besides silence between them two (well three technically since Homer never moved once since hitting his head on their porch floor) the green-skinned woman walked over next to Marge bending down next to her saying "Well? How'd ya manage ta land 'im? Was it one night stands? Or maybe..." Before continuing however both women heard footsteps walking towards them from inside their house suddenly stopping outside their open front door causing both women including Homer lying flat on the ground outside their porch entrance looking deader than death itself all eyes looking towards whoever walked outside seeing Maggie walking out casually holding a glass filled with orange juice in one hand along with another glass filled with white liquid in another hand then walking over next to them saying "Here honey! I made yo-" before stopping mid sentence noticing how alive (well dead technically) ole' pudgy ol' Homer lying flat out on the ground staring blankly into space seemed at least so Maggie thought anyway* before turning towards the two women watching over him saying "Mom? What are y-" before stopping mid sentence noticing how similar they all looked except for one thing: One person being green while another being red... And now Maggie's mind started racing thinking about how strange things seemed here today considering earlier today when she was eating dinner with Mommy upstairs in their kitchen downstairs Dad came home acting strange holding some bags full of stuff without telling anyone what those bags contained until now when Mommy seemed more concerned about Dad than anything else today including Maggie herself who wondered why Daddy would act strange carrying those bags into house especially if Mommy didn't seem worried about it earlier today... But now wasn't time for such thoughts either because now Maggie noticed something else unusual: Mommy standing next to someone who looked exactly like Mommy only being green... Now Maggie felt confused beyond words wondering if maybe this day isn't real after all? Or perhaps Daddy has gone mad again!? Either way Maggie decided not question any further with those thoughts running through her mind deciding instead not say anything else at all for now except for just responding to Mommy's last words earlier by saying "... Well he is always drinking beer every day after work plus taking naps every afternoon..." After speaking these words Maggie turned back towards walking inside their house behind Mommy leaving both women alone outside with Homer still lying flat out on their porch floor board covered in blood and sweat breathing heavily still not moving an inch despite everyone talking around him going about normal business until...
"That explains why he doesn't take care of himself too well huh?" Asked Green-Marge turning back towards Red-Marge who seemed surprised at first upon hearing Green-Margie talk then replied by saying "... Yeah well apparently neither does Dad sometimes..." Red-marge sighed before continuing "... Although sometimes I think our Dad is just stupid beyond imagination sometimes..." Green-Marge smirked before replying "... Nah... Actually just plain dumb." They both chuckled before Green-Marge continued speaking "... Well Red-Marge I guess we better help your Dad huh? He seems pretty out of shape right now." Red-Margie nodded before turning around facing Green-megan and asking "... So uh... Who are yah anyways?" Before continuing however Green-Megan reached into one pocket of her jean shorts pulling out a small mirror from inside showing Red-Megan herself covered in bright pink skin but instead being called something else besides Lard Lad: A name given by someone else whose name has been lost forever due to history changing forever throughout time whose identity has been lost due to events taking place causing history itself changing forever throughout time changing everything about life itself meaning almost nothing about history remains accurate nowadays including names people used years ago too nevermind events themselves taking place destroying everything left from then whenever they did happen causing things from long ago ruined beyond repair onwards...
