INT. SAFEHOUSE - NIGHT

A dimly lit room with a single, small window. The sound of rain

pattering against the glass.

RYAN MAVERICK (early 30s, ruggedly handsome) sits at a table,

staring at a map of Europe. He's surrounded by newspaper

clippings and photographs.

Ryan's phone VIBRATES on the table. He picks it up and answers.

RYAN

Yeah?

SCARLET DANGER (40s, fierce and fearless) is on the other end.

SCARLET

Ryan, we need to talk. Meet me at

our usual spot in an hour.

Scarlet hangs up before Ryan can respond.

Ryan sighs and looks back down at the map, deep in thought.

CUT TO:

EXT. CITY ROOFTOP - NIGHT

Ryan stands alone on a rooftop, overlooking the city skyline.

He's dressed all in black, blending into the shadows.

Scarlet appears out of nowhere, startling Ryan.

RYAN

Jesus, Scarlet! You scared the

shit out of me.

SCARLET

Sorry. Occupational hazard.

What's going on?

Ryan hesitates for a moment before speaking.

RYAN

I've been doing some research.

There's something big happening in

Europe. Human trafficking on a

massive scale. And it's being run

by some powerful people.

Scarlet raises an eyebrow, intrigued.

SCARLET

Go on...

Ryan pulls out a photograph and hands it to Scarlet.

RYAN

This is one of the men behind it.

His name is Viktor Kozlov. He's a

wealthy businessman with ties to

organized crime. He's untouchable,

but someone needs to stop him.

That's where I come in.

Scarlet studies the photograph, her expression serious.

SCARLET

You're going after Kozlov? Alone?

RYAN

Yeah. I can't just sit back and do

nothing. These people are ruining

lives, Scarlet. Someone has to put

a stop to it.

Scarlet places a hand on Ryan's shoulder, looking him in the

eye.

SCARLET

I understand why you want to do

this, Ryan. But you need to be

careful. Kozlov is dangerous.

Don't let your emotions cloud your

judgement.

Ryan nods, grateful for Scarlet's concern.

RYAN

I'll be careful. And I won't let my

emotions get the best of me.

Promise.

Scarlet gives Ryan a reassuring smile.

SCARLET

Good. Just remember, we're in this

together. If you need backup,

don't hesitate to ask.

Ryan nods again, feeling a renewed sense of determination.

RYAN

Thanks, Scarlet. I appreciate that.
