The place had been a bar, but it was now a hellhole of pain and suffering. The owner had been a nice lady, with a heart of gold, but she had been taken away by the robots for disobeying their orders. It was an innocent mistake; she had been in the kitchen when she heard the door chime. She sped to her feet and ran out to the front desk only to see that there were no customers at all, just two burly-looking men in black suits. They looked down at her kindly, smiled, and they asked if they could speak to the owner. She told them that she was the owner, and that she would be happy to help them with whatever they needed. They smiled again, thanked her for her time and understanding, and then vanished into thin air.

Morning came, and soon after that she was taken away in a big white van with no license plates. The last thing she saw were those same two men in black suits standing outside of her shop with their hands in their pockets, looking on at her as if they were watching a movie.

She never returned from prison. The bar remained open for business, with one waitress left behind to tend it while the rest of them went off to work as usual. But one day they arrived at work only to find out that they had been laid off because of low sales. And so it began: first the waitresses moved on to better things, then the chefs did too, then even the janitor left within a week's time - leaving only three people behind: two bartenders and one waitress who had been too scared to leave because of what happened to the others before her.

They tried not to think about it too much and continued working as best as they could until one day one of them finally cracked under all of the pressure - he collapsed under his own weight right there on the floor in front of everyone else and he didn't get back up. He lay there with blood trickling from his nose until eventually he stopped moving altogether.

The other bartender didn't know what to do - he was alone now - so he just sat down next to him and waited for his end as well.

The waitress wasn't sure how long she sat there waiting for someone else to arrive, but eventually she realized that no one else was coming anymore - so she picked herself up off of the floor where she had fallen and made her way towards the bathroom door at the back of the room where there was an exit leading outside. She didn't know why but something kept telling her that this was a bad idea; that something horrible would happen if she went outside now - but she ignored it anyway, opened up the door...and walked right into God's waiting arms (if there is such a thing).

Everything went black...or rather white...in an instant; it felt like someone hit her over the head with a baseball bat, but when she came to again - all trace of pain had been removed from her body entirely; replaced instead by a feeling of euphoria that she couldn't quite explain or describe properly in words if pressed for an answer afterwards. She felt lighter than air somehow; like nothing could ever hurt her again, which must have meant that somehow all traces of pain were stripped from her being entirely...but how? How did this happen? And why? And what about those two terrifying men in black suits? Who were they? What did they want? Why did they want it? These questions all ran through her mind over and over again as if on loop for hours on end until eventually the thought simply faded away into oblivion along with everything else around her...including herself (if indeed she ever existed).
