Alexa's Night of Discovery

Alexa took a deep breath, calming herself down as she looked at the timestamp of her ticket. She was supposed to be here two hours ago and it was already getting late. The last bus had just left and she was left alone in this small town, a place she had never been to before. The only thing she knew about this town was that Myriam would be performing there tomorrow night. Still trying to collect herself, Alexa closed her eyes and began to hum one of her favorite songs by Myriam. She could feel her heart beating slower and slower until it finally stopped at the sound of a notification on her phone.

“Myriam Fares is live!”

Alexa opened her eyes in disbelief. “No way...” she muttered, looking around nervously. There were no people around except for her; it seemed as if time stopped for everyone else as well. Alexa turned on the video stream and saw Myriam standing before a large crowd with her guitar in hand, ready for a concert. Her voice was just as impressive as Alexa remembered it to be, and all too soon the video ended with Myriam announcing the evening’s location. It took Alexa a moment to register what had happened but when she did, she quickly jumped on her bike and rode as fast as she could towards where the performance would take place. After some time cycling through the darkness of night, Alexa finally arrived at the concert venue only to find out that it was completely sold out. Frustrated, she took a seat at an outdoor cafe nearby, staring at the large building filled with people who were enjoying themselves while she sat here feeling miserable.

“Can I get you something?” the waitress asked Alexa while putting down her tray filled with empty glasses.

“I guess I'll have another tea...” Alexa said quietly, not looking up from the ground below her feet.

The waitress nodded and walked over to the kitchen to fetch another cup of tea for Alexa while an idea suddenly popped into Alexa's head. She stood up from her chair, keeping an eye on the cafe's entrance so that no one could see what she was doing, and then took out her phone from her pocket. With shaky hands, Alexa opened up a video stream app called Realtime Live which allowed users to watch real-time events happening all around the world in perfect quality without any lag whatsoever. However, these events could only be viewed by paying five dollars per hour which made most people avoid using this app; however considering how desperate Alexa was right now, this price tag certainly did not matter much anymore to her. She searched for videos of Myriam's concert and as expected none of them were available due to their high cost; however there were plenty of other videos available such as sports matches, concerts of other musicians, TV shows etcetera which meant that Realtime Live had managed to get its desired amount of money after all despite having such a high price tag. Suddenly remembering that she needed more than five dollars since there were still many hours left until Myriam's show was over, Alexa started searching for other things besides Myriam's concert that might be worth watching instead. And sure enough after some time spent searching through various videos for different things like soccer matches or TV shows, Alexa finally found something interesting amongst all those channels: A popular comedy show from someone called "Mountain Man".

"Haha yeah! This dude is hilarious!" Alexa said loudly while laughing along with Mr Mountain Man who was currently talking about his daily life living in his house in the mountains together with his family; apparently he wanted everyone to know that he does have a family even though he always wore that huge beard covering half of his face along with sunglasses when he went out in public; apparently he also wanted everyone to know how much better his life is compared to theirs as well according to him since he lived in nature while they lived in cities filled with pollution etcetera etcetera... After watching his latest episode three times over again while drinking tea after tea and eating chocolate chips cookies continuously following each other no less than ten times within an hour (on purpose), Alexa suddenly noticed that one video remained unopened despite her having watched everything else available over and over again: A live stream showing Mr Mountain Man walking about inside his own home where he talked about things like why he never got married or why he never had kids etcetera etcetera.. Now knowing enough about Mr Mountain Man's background story after hearing it multiple times over again during today's livestreams by various random people who clearly didn't care too much about their own lives but cared way too much about his instead (or perhaps their lives were just really boring?), Alexa decided that nothing good would ever come out of watching this last video because surely Mr Mountain Man wouldn't say anything new or interesting this time either which surely meant that watching him walking around inside his house wasn't worth paying five dollars per hour for at least not anymore since all those other livestreams already covered everything there was left for him to say anyway.. At least not until suddenly Myriam appeared on screen unexpectedly saying "What? No way! Who do we have here?" followed by Mr Mountain Man saying "Oh hello beautiful! What are you doing here?"

"Uhm... wait.. what?" Alexa muttered quietly while staring at screen with wide eyes filled with confusion; why would someone like Myriam suddenly appear on screen during Mr Mountain Man's livestream? Hadn't these two people met each other face-to-face already during one of Myriam's concerts? Why would they meet each other like this again now? Wasn't it exciting enough meeting someone like Myriam during one of those concerts? Why meet again now? How was this even possible? How did they manage getting connected through Realtime Live? What did they mean by beautiful? Was it actually Myriam herself or someone pretending to be like that? And how did they know each other exactly? Had they met before without anyone else being present or were they just two strangers who met online somewhere without anyone being present there either? Or had they met each other somewhere else long ago but forgot about each other afterwards? And how had they forgotten each other after seeing each others' faces in person anyway? What did those two mean by beautiful anyway? Had they both found each other beautiful during their first meeting back then or did they find each other beautiful now after seeing each others' faces again after so many years passed by? Was it similar kind of beauty or totally different kind of beauty either way? Where had they met exactly? In a concert hall somewhere or somewhere else maybe? Or perhaps somewhere else entirely different than anywhere else altogether.. And why hadn't anyone seen them together before if they had met back then even though no one else seemed capable finding them online right now without somehow managing to record this entire livestream showing them both together for everyone now watching them live.. This couldn't possibly be possible.. Could it have been recorded already beforehand by someone and then uploaded here afterwards after finishing recording during tonight's livestream.. Or could someone have seen them together years ago somewhere secretly filming every second secretly capturing their intimate moments secretly documenting every single moment secretly making sure no one ever finds out what has happened between them secretly filming everything secretly uploading their entire relationship secretly setting up everything secretly making sure nobody sees anything until later secretly making sure certain things remain secret forever secretly making sure certain things aren't leaked ever secretly
