Wednesday Pool Party

The day was hot, and the sun was high in the sky.

It was already well into after lunch, and the heat that had been building up all day was starting to make the people of Washington D.C. feel a bit more irritable than usual.

So when they saw a group of three kids, two boys and one girl, walking up to them as if they owned the place, they were ready to tell them off.

"Where do you think you're going?" The first person asked.

The girl in front was the one who stopped in front of the man, but it was obvious by looking at her that she was the leader.

She was dressed in a long black dress that went down to her ankles, and wore a large hat on her head that covered their face from the sun.

"I'm going swimming." She said simply, as if it was obvious.

The man scoffed at her response. "You're not allowed here." He said sternly.

"Why not?" She replied sarcastically, lowering her voice to a hush so only he could hear her properly. "Because I'm white?"

"No... Because you're not wearing any clothes." Someone else chimed in from behind him, which made him turn around to face them again.

"Excuse me?" The girl asked incredulously. "Clothes are for prudish people who don't want to get sunburned." She added with a shrug of her shoulders, before she turned around and started walking towards the pool once again, flanked by the other two kids who followed close behind her at a distance.

None of them seemed all too pleased with how things were going so far, but it didn't seem like they really had any other choice but just follow along with whatever it is she wanted to do as best they could while they still had their lives intact, despite how much trouble they were bound to get into with their parents later on when they got home late without letting anyone know where they went today and why they hadn't called or texted anyone since this morning... or whenever it was that they left home this morning...

As the girl walked closer and closer towards the pool until she reached its edge and looked down inside of it, she could see hundreds upon hundreds of small red dots scattered all over the water's surface below her feet.

They didn't look like anything she'd seen before though - usually when she would go swimming back home one of her many pets (in this case it would be one of her pet crows) would suddenly appear out of nowhere when she was about ready to jump into the water below herself and start attacking people around without any warning whatsoever - just like clockwork whenever she would decide to go swimming on a hot summer's day - but there didn't seem to be any animals around here at all for some reason or another... Not even one single spider or fly in sight for some reason... So what on Earth had caused these red spots on top of the water? Was there something wrong with this pool? Was someone dying inside underneath all those red dots? Or perhaps there had been an incident involving blood somewhere underneath? She didn't know how much blood different people's bodies could hold before they actually died during an attack or an accident or whatever happened underwater so she couldn't say for sure what exactly happened here... It certainly wasn't anything normal at least... But then again did anything these days ever actually seem normal anymore? Anything around here seemed pretty weird to begin with anyway - just like everything else these days... It certainly beat being bored though!

It seemed like no one else around here knew what those red dots meant either though, as everyone else standing nearby just kept staring at them without saying much of anything - except for that one woman over there on this side of the pool who ran as fast as she could (as if someone's life depended on it) away from them as soon as she laid eyes upon those red dots while screaming hysterically while everyone else just stood there looking confused at each other trying to figure out what kind of sick joke someone might be playing around here today... Wasn't it bad enough that these weird looking kids had shown up already? Did they really have to show up dressed like something out of an old black comedy movie as well? What sort of sense did that even make? And why did none of these people seem surprised about any of this happening around where they lived every single day anymore? How could anyone possibly live like this?! Everyone in town felt like answering those questions themselves when suddenly one person spoke up over all others:

"Hey! No animals are allowed here!" Another voice rang out from somewhere behind them - this time from someone who sounded very familiar! It was Nancy O'Dell! One of their friends from school! And yet another friend showed up shortly thereafter: It was Daniela Ortega! They were certainly quite busy today bringing all sorts of friends together! Daniela managed to convince Nancy O'Dell (who didn't want anything more than getting away from everyone else while she still could) back over towards everyone else while pulling at her sleeve while simultaneously dragging along a young Asian boy with her who tried his hardest avoiding eye contact with anyone else over where he stood right now - especially after finally realising what exactly all those red dots floating across the surface beneath their feet meant! He must've figured out by now that everyone else standing around him were probably afraid he would end up biting them later on if he stayed any longer near where he stood now... He must've been thinking about living through all this somehow after all! Not only because he didn't want anyone getting hurt because he was bitten by mistake later on because he forgot himself for some odd reason or another but also because he didn't want someone calling him an illegal alien for some strange reason or another especially after knowing how important things were back where he came from right now! If someone found out about him being here illegally now there might be trouble in paradise for sure... He must've thought about avoiding such trouble until he could finally leave town safely - hopefully sometime soon! As Nancy O'Dell pulled Daniela Ortega back over towards everyone else while dragging along Mr Kim along with them following closely behind them both (with his hat still pulled down tightly over his face so only his eyes remained visible above), Mr Kim turned around quickly (while still walking backwards) which caught both girls off guard (causing Nancy O'Dell's paw holding onto Daniela Ortega's sleeve being jerked forcefully backwards suddenly!) causing both girls to fall flat on their backsides onto the concrete surrounding where they'd previously been standing earlier on causing Mr Kim to choke on nothing but air which proved impossible for him to do silently (forcing him to let out multiple loud coughs into his hands while turning away from them immediately afterwards)! Although everyone else standing around here didn't understand why Mr Kim had suddenly acted like that nor why Nancy O'Dell and Daniela Ortega had fallen down onto their backsides so suddenly neither did anyone particularly care either way since there were far more important things taking place right now than understanding why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened nor why something happened not only because remembering everything wasn't particularly easy these days but also because remembering everything might lead people down paths that weren't meant for them in order for things not to happen later on down the road later on especially in cases when people tried asking too many questions too early on too often without really thinking things through first properly beforehand before proceeding forward making decisions based purely off emotion rather than logic instead leading things down paths which weren't meant for people whose emotions eventually clouded their judgement making decisions based purely off emotion rather than logic thus making things worse for themselves and others afterwards when attempting at fixing said problems later on down the road instead inadvertently creating other problems further down the line instead..."Wait!" A third person shouted out loudly towards everyone else gathered around where they stood watching everything unfold silently: It was Maggie Smith-Trujillo! She had arrived just in time before someone ended up getting hurt somehow by doing nothing more than speaking up instead! "What are you doing?!" She continued shouting once everyone stopped paying attention towards her instead! "There's nothing wrong around here!" She added finally after pausing briefly: This felt strange considering how packed everything always seemed lately around where they lived nowadays; not only because everywhere always looked like a ghost town lately thanks to most people choosing staying indoors during daylight hours inside dark rooms watching TV shows aimed solely designed for entertainment purposes rather than keeping their sanity intact anymore ("I'm just trying my best surviving!" They used telling themselves whenever asked what exactly kept them locked inside away from sunlight risking never seeing sunlight again ever again either...) but also because Maggie Smith-Trujillo herself always seemed distracted recently whenever outside during daylight hours as well whenever walking past almost every single person looking straight ahead ignoring anyone standing next to them whenever interacting with other people whenever walking past them instead which always seemed very strange considering how talkative Maggie Smith-Trujillo used being whenever interacting with others normally whenever always having plenty interesting stories worth sharing whenever talking face-
