"See, I told you they'd come."

"You said they would," Chi corrected, "but these aren't the men we want."

"Doesn't matter. They can't stop us now."

The two men were so lost in their conversation that they were unaware of the approaching footsteps. As they turned to face the other direction, the two well-dressed strangers walked right up to them and grabbed each of them by their collars. It was only at that moment that they realized something was off about the situation. The two men looked identical to one another, from their hair down to their shoes. "Who are you?" demanded one of the clones. "And what do you think you're doing?"

Chi took out a violin case from under her cloak and opened it to reveal a gleaming Stradivarius violin. She then opened her mouth to sing a song that would forever be etched in their minds: "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..." She smiled broadly as she sang and played, looking like someone who had just won a bet with herself. "You know this song? It's my favorite."

The two gangsters nodded and smiled as if bewitched as she continued singing and playing, unable to break away from her or stop listening even if they wanted to. The two strange men were caught off guard by her unusual display of skill and began dancing, barely able to contain themselves. Within minutes everyone on the street was watching the strange performance and swaying along with the rhythm. A crowd gathered around them, some joining in while others simply stood there staring in disbelief at what was happening before them.

"That's more like it," said Chi, continuing on with her tune. "It seems like everybody wants to dance! Why don't we all have some fun together?" After wrapping up her performance, she stood in front of the group with her arms open wide as if she were about to receive a hug from each person present. The crowd rushed towards her like waves crashing against rocks and soon halted in front of her. One by one they reached up for her embrace but stopped short when they saw what she held in each hand: a small revolver and a pistol-grip shotgun respectively.

"All right everyone," she yelled over the crowd roar, "time for some target practice!" She popped open the chambers of each gun and replaced their cartridges with alternating shots of rat poison and buckshot. Without further warning, she aimed both guns into the air above everyone's heads and pulled back on their triggers without hesitation. The resulting explosions sent clouds of poison gas into the sky high enough for others nearby to see but not high enough to cause direct injury unless someone breathed it in directly or ingested it through eating an unlucky bird covered with the powder.

"That should do it," Chi said proudly as people began dropping from dizziness or spasms in their muscles caused by rat poison entering their bloodstreams through skin contact or ingestion if they ate anything coated by its residue after falling onto it from above. Everyone started wailing loudly as they fell unconscious one after another until only Chi was left standing alone among a sea of bodies slumped against one another on top of piles of rat poison-coated street dust near where she had shot into the air earlier. She looked over at the two gangsters who had been dancing earlier with smiles plastered across their faces despite being poisoned by carbon monoxide poisoning after having inhaled too much smoke from gunpowder during Chi's blasts earlier before finally losing consciousness themselves as well They lay still next to each other on opposite sides of a pile of unconscious gang members who must have seen them fall down before passing out themselves due to carbon monoxide poisoning as well due to having breathed in too much smoke while standing close together while watching Chi play earlier during her performance which may have also caused indirect poisoning through ingestion via inhalation if anyone had eaten any food covered by carbon monoxide residue on nearby surfaces after seeing them fall down before passing out themselves due to carbon monoxide poisoning due to breathing too much smoke while standing close together while watching Chi play earlier during her performance which may have also caused indirect poisoning through ingestion via inhalation if anyone had eaten any food covered by carbon monoxide residue on nearby surfaces...
