Multiverse's Edge: The Green Goblin's Rise

Miles swung through the city, his heart pounding in his chest. He had to find a way to stop the colliders, to save the multiverse from collapsing. But every time he thought he was getting closer, the Green Goblin would appear, throwing pumpkin bombs and taunting him.

"You can't stop me, kid!" the Green Goblin cackled. "I've already won!"

Miles gritted his teeth and shot a web at a nearby building, propelling himself forward. He had to keep going, keep fighting. The fate of the multiverse depended on it.

As Miles swung around a corner, he saw Gwen ahead of him, battling a group of Goblin minions.

"Gwen!" he called out.

She looked up and smiled. "Hey, Miles! Need a hand?"

"Definitely," Miles replied as he landed next to her. "These guys just don't quit."

Together, they fought off the minions with their spider powers and quick reflexes. But no matter how many they defeated, more seemed to take their place.

"We need to find the Green Goblin," Gwen said between punches. "He's the one controlling the colliders."

"I know," Miles said. "But every time I get close, he disappears."

Gwen nodded. "He's definitely playing mind games with us. We just have to stay focused and not let him get under our skin."

Easier said than done, Miles thought as another minion tackled him to the ground.

"Miles!" Gwen called out as she kicked the minion away.

"I'm okay," he said as he got back on his feet. "Just need to be more careful."

They continued their fight against the goblins, working together in perfect sync. It was like they were two halves of a whole - each filling in the gaps where the other fell short.

Finally, they defeated the last of the minions and stood panting, their chests heaving.

"Nice work," Gwen said, giving Miles a high-five.

"You too," he replied with a grin. "We make a pretty good team."

Gwen smiled. "Yeah, we do."

Suddenly, the ground shook beneath them and a bright green light filled the air.

"It's the collider!" Miles exclaimed. "It's about to activate!"

They looked at each other and without a word, started running towards the source of the light. As they got closer, they could see the Green Goblin standing in front of the collider, his laugh echoing through the air.

"Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen," he sneered. "Two spiders are better than one, huh? Well, let's see how you handle this!"

He pressed a button on his wrist and the collider powered up, creating a swirling vortex of energy.

"We have to stop him!" Miles shouted over the noise.

They charged at the Green Goblin, dodging pumpkin bombs and webs as they went. But no matter what they did, he always seemed to be one step ahead.

"He's too fast!" Gwen yelled as she narrowly avoided getting hit by a bomb.

Miles looked around desperately for something - anything - that could help them defeat the Green Goblin. And that's when he saw it: a control panel on the side of the collider.

"I have an idea!" he called out to Gwen.

She looked at him questioningly as she flipped over another pumpkin bomb.

"Keep him distracted," Miles said. "I'm going to try and shut down the collider."

Gwen nodded and swung back into action. She fought off goblin after goblin as Miles made his way towards the control panel. He was almost there when something grabbed him from behind and threw him into a nearby building.

Miles groaned as he pulled himself to his feet. The Prowler stood in front of him, a wicked grin on his face.

"Going somewhere, kid?" he sneered.

Miles took a deep breath and got into a fighting stance. He couldn't let the Prowler stop him. The fate of the multiverse depended on it.
