Clippy's Amazing Journey
·
Published 5/8/2023An exceptionally happy, anthropomorphic horse named Clippy embarks on a daring journey to break free from his masters' stable and relies on his quick wit and knowledge in the face of adversity, all while sparking joy and good humor along the way.

"We will be arriving at the farm in just a few minutes, Clippy. Are you excited?" The woman asked her horse.
"Yes! I am very excited," Clippy answered. "I can't wait to get out of this car."
Clippy's mistress smiled and patted her horse's mane. She could not believe how well behaved he was; he barely had made a peep when they were travelling, and it appeared that he was happy to let his humans do all the work. Her husband was already outside the car and had opened the door for her and for Clippy.
"Alright gentleman, here we go!" The farmer said as he opened up the trunk of the car and lifted out a large canvas bag with some supplies and a lead-rope. His wife walked over to him and took the bag from his hands. They went over to where Clippy was standing, waiting patiently to be released from his restraints. His mistress quickly unlocked the doors and pushed them open while her husband undid the front straps that held Clippy in place. His mistress then released his hind legs and removed the last strap that went under his belly. She walked around to pat him on his rump and gave him a carrot treat before handing him a lead rope that was tied to the fence post behind them. He happily munched away on his carrot while she led him over to where her husband was standing with a bucket full of carrots, apples, corn and water for their new horse. A broad smile covered most of Clippy's face as he walked calmly alongside his new owners, sniffing everything in sight; both curious about his new home, but also incredibly happy after being trapped in a car for several hours. As they reached the farm house entrance he eagerly looked around at everything; there were small buildings, tall trees everywhere and even grass growing freely on both sides of the dirt road between their driveway and the farm house itself. His mistress patted him on his shoulder as she led him inside so that he could meet everyone else who lived here too.
They entered through the kitchen door into what looked like an old style living room that apparently doubled up as a dining room as there was an old wooden table with chairs already set up in it by one of her sons who lived here too with his family. Her husband placed down their luggage near one of the walls before walking over to greet everyone else who were also present there; two grandchildren, one son (who owns most of this land) with his wife and their two little ones, plus another older daughter who lives alone in town close by with her own family. It was quite noisy for a moment or two as everyone talked at once about how long it has been since they last met or saw each other until eventually the room became quiet enough for them all to hear each other again. Everyone greeted each other warmly once more before talking quietly amongst themselves whilst they waited for dinner time to arrive after everyone finished doing whatever they had been doing before dinner time...
"Is that really your first time ever seeing grass?" One of her grandson's asked Clippy curiously after dinner time had finally arrived and everyone had sat down at their seats with plates full of food while they ate together quietly while listening to soft music playing in the background from an old Amstrad stereo system that stood against one of the walls near where most people sat down at their seats. "You look like you're enjoying this grass very much," He continued while gently resting one hand against Clippy's muzzle; tickled by how soft it felt against his fingers as Clippy kept eating away at his meal as if nothing else mattered but eating while trying to ignore all these distractions around him too at the same time. "I have never seen anyone eat so fast before." He added smiling laughingly afterwards as he pulled away from him so that everyone else could see better what he meant by this too...
"Well yes..." Clippy replied softly; feeling slightly embarrassed by what he said next but still unable to stop himself from saying it anyway... "This is my first time ever seeing grass like this anywhere because I have always been stuck in my stable back home without ever getting out until today." He explained shyly; feeling rather sad about this fact now too even though looking around at all these things around him seemed to make up for it some more by making him feel happy again instead... "So yes... I'm very happy because my owners have finally decided to take me out here tonight." He concluded smiling brightly afterwards despite still feeling rather sad about not being allowed out sooner than today which made it harder on holding back tears than usual which promptly rolled down his face along with more tears streaming down his cheeks too because he knew all too well how frustrating life had been while locked up inside just one small stable back home...
