Aloy's Ancient Adventure

I woke up and was like, "I'm so tired of monsters. Why can't I just go to the beach?" But I got my bow and arrow out anyway and went to this one monster village and killed all the dudes. Some were on fire, some had snakes for arms. It was cool, you know? I don't really like killing things but I thought it was kind of fun to see that all these different monsters could live together. Like, who wouldn't want an armadillo's shell? Still, kinda weird that they were all living in one place.

I'm not sure what the Old Ones were thinking but I suppose it's nice that there are so many monsters to kill. I kill them like crazy and then go sell the loot and get money for better weapons. Money is good. When I kill stuff I think about how much money I'll get from it. Then when I have lots of money I buy a bigger house with more space to put all my stuff in it.

I have lots of stuff now! Bigger houses need more rooms! The biggest house is 20 rooms big but only 5 of them are bedrooms. 3 of those are mine! So that's 2 bedrooms worth of stuff per room, which is pretty good if you ask me! And there's a kitchen and a living room too! And each room is labeled too so it's easy to find what you want because you can read it instead of searching around everywhere until you remember where you put something.

Some people say that reading makes you smarter or something but I don't see how that's true if someone writes a book or whatever and then someone else has to write down all the words again so everyone can read it even if they're bad at reading. That seems dumb to me. But there are lots of people who read books outside of school and stuff so maybe there's something to it... Who knows? At least reading is fun for me though! Especially when a monster is chasing me!

Anyway, some days it takes a while to kill everything but other days I can kill everything super fast and then go home and sleep for a few hours because I'm sick of fighting monsters. When you're sick of monsters sometimes you can pretend that they're your friends or something but then later on you realize they're not your friends because they're trying to eat you even though they're your friends so that doesn't make sense at all but sometimes it makes you feel better anyway so whatever right?

And then sometimes I go to bed early because this lady says she doesn't like when girls go out late at night by themselves cause they might get raped or whatever. But whenever she says that she always looks really mad or sad or whatever which means she's worried about me getting raped right in front of her bedroom window because that would be embarrassing for her or something right? Because she said she didn't want me going out late by myself cause that would be bad but also she wanted me to stay near her house because then she'd know where I was in case anything happened, which makes no sense because if something happened she'd still not know where I was unless she followed me everywhere which would be annoying plus why would anything happen anyway?

But then one time my mom left the house for a long time and came back with another baby and was like "here this is your sister" but my sister wasn't a monster like me which meant I couldn't teach her how to fight or anything which is dumb because then when we grew up we'd probably have been able to protect each other from monsters instead of having to do it ourselves which would have probably been easier! And my sister wouldn't have died either! So we should probably just teach our kids how to fight monsters before they're born so their lives will be easier too!
