Published 3/12/2023After gaining the amazeballs power to manipulate time, three brave friends; Alex, Rowan, and Tyson embark on a wild ride around the world to save humankind from a peculiar and deadly new enemy, while questioning egos and cracking hilarious experiments along the way.
"What do you mean we can't stop him?" Rowan asked in disbelief. She and Alex sat with Tyson at a table, nursing their drinks. It had been over a year since they had returned to the present, but they were all still reeling from the events of the past year.
"I mean, we can't stop him." Tyson said flatly. "At least not yet. We don't have enough information on him. He's too well hidden. The only thing we know is that he's responsible for the Grand Collapse and essentially every other major disaster in recent history."
Rowan slumped back into her chair, "How can he be so powerful? How is it possible that someone could cause such destruction without anyone noticing."
"We noticed." Alex said bitterly. "Somehow he managed to kill me and destroy our home without us ever being able to catch him."
Tyson shook his head, "He didn't just kill you, he killed you and brought you back. I don't know how, but he was definitely responsible for your resurrection."
Alex clenched his fist and slammed it down on the table. "That bastard! How dare he take my life from me and then bring it back again so I'd have to experience it all over again!"
"We've all had to go through hell this last year." Rowan said quietly. "But I guess we'll just have to deal with it." she took a long drink and set her glass down with a sigh. "So what now?"
