One Trip to Mars: A Love Story Bravely Faced.

Once upon a time, there was a boy named John who had no friends because he was afraid of the dark.

But then again he did have friends, they were just all his pets and they were all dead now.

He was just kidding, (okay not really) but he had many friends! He didn’t have any pets though and that’s probably for the better. They would have been eaten by one of the many monsters on Mars. Also, mars is kind of boring and there aren’t any animals or plants to eat on it and so it sucks to be a plant. Or an animal. I guess?

Anyway, john was a man now! A tall man with 6 arms and 2 legs like everyone else in their village. He lived near a space port city called Samartia that had only been built 3 years ago by the people from Earth who came to Mars a while back to colonize it. They found something they thought they could make money off of but it turned out not to be true at all and they left after realizing their mistake. So John lived in this weird town with lots of immigrants and weirdos and he was one himself too because he was afraid of the dark! But he wasn’t gay which is why we call them weirdos okay?

He lived in this apartment complex with his friend Mike who was also afraid of the dark and then one day Mike told him about how some people said that kids who were born here on Mars were stronger than kids who were born on Earth! And so John went out into the night alone hoping to find these kids who are stronger than him!

It took him a long time to find these kids because they were underground in some kind of bunker. Eventually though, he found them and talked to them for awhile until finally one of them agreed to let him join their gang if he helped them fight some monsters that had been attacking their bunker! So John grabbed his sword which he had gotten from his dad when his dad died last year, and together with these kids helped fight off the monsters by slicing off their heads with his sword! The headless monster bodies then evaporated revealing glowing souls being held captive inside by the monsters!! The kids explained to him that these glowing souls were called “motes” or something like that? And that they needed help freeing themselves from their captors as well!

There was some kind of ritual thing you could do to free them but only certain people could do it so John decided to go home instead because Mike liked helping people too so maybe he would like helping free these motes too? Anyway, on his way back home however, one of the monsters noticed him walking alone in the street at night so it jumped out at him from around a corner! Luckily his sword got it right between its eyes before it could get close enough to eat him though and then another monster saw what happened so it jumped out at him too but this time he sliced off its head even while jumping backwards instead of forward!! The monster’s body evaporated leaving behind two glowing souls behind instead!!

These two souls then flew up towards the moon where they started talking with each other saying things like “Are you okay?” and “Owie ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch OUUUCH!!!” And then another monster saw what happened so it jumped out at John again but this time John couldn’t cut off its head before getting hit himself?? He fell down onto the ground unable to move anymore just as the monster jumped down towards him ready to eat his face but just then Mike showed up out of nowhere with a gun!! Mike shot at the monster over and over again until finally after about 30 shots?? It exploded into millions of glowing soul motes!? Which then all flew towards John instead?? He felt dizzy for a moment but then moments later all those motes joined together into two larger glowing soul motes!? He felt even more dizzy after that but thankfully when those two large glowing soul motes rejoined with each other moments later into one huge glowing soul mote instead??? He suddenly felt much better?! It looked at him for awhile before suddenly flying over towards Mike who shouted “AHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! MOOOOOOOOOOOORE SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINES ARE HAPPENING AND I AM BECOMING MORE STRONGLY AFRAID AND I AM NOT LIKE SOME OF YOU AT ALL BECAUSE I AM JUST LIKE THIS OR WHATEVER!!!!!” But luckily after a few minutes this huge glowing soul mote disappeared into Mike too?? Leaving behind a tiny glowing soul mote that flew back towards John again??? This time staying there and not going anywhere else for awhile??? Until finally after about 5 minutes or so this tiny glowing soul mote disappeared into John too?? Leaving behind nothing afterwards except for an important feeling inside of him as if someone or something important had just left his body somehow? And also leaving behind an old memory from when he was still living on Earth as a kid along with some feelings associated with that memory too? Some feelings related to wanting to help other people keep their dreams alive in some way? And also feelings related to loving someone else greatly? Maybe those feelings had always been there inside of him somewhere but now they were stronger than ever before even if they might be buried deep inside somewhere along with other memories? Maybe those memories will never return exactly how they once were but they will still be there never being forgotten forever even if only barely? Maybe some day those feelings will be stronger than ever before again even if maybe just for one moment when everything is quiet? Maybe those feelings are always there waiting patiently for someone else someday (maybe himself?) who needs them more than anyone else ever has or ever will need them in their entire life? Or maybe those feelings will never return at all forever leaving behind just an emptiness inside somewhere along with memories only barely remembered now perhaps along with new memories beginning in their place instead where those old memories once used to be? Wasn't tonight already filled up with enough memories already anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways anyways/????
