Lunar Love Affair
·
Published 3/13/2023In a cyberpunk utopia set on the moon, an eighteen-year-old hopelessly infatuated with his neighbor's milfy mother ventures on a forbidden journey of old-fashioned steamy romance, where the consequences of their actions will ultimately threaten the fate of the town's entire society.
The phone rang, waking me from a deep sleep.
"Ugh..." I groaned. I reached over to grab my phone from the nightstand and was immediately blinded by the light that shined from it. I held it a few inches over my face, squinting to see who was calling me at such an ungodly hour. It was Megan. My dick immediately began doing push-ups in my boxers as I tried to process what time of day it was. It looked like it was around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
I answered the call with a hoarse voice, "Megan? What's wrong?" She sounded distressed.
"Evan! Oh God where are you? Are you still in bed?" Her voice had the same tone she used when she thought someone died.
I sat up quickly and turned on my lamp, "What's going on? What's wrong? Is it the baby?"
"Oh! No...no..." she said, her voice much more relaxed than before, "Nothing like that." She paused for a moment, "Well, actually...there might be something *wrong* with the baby..."
That last sentence sent chills through me. The last thing I wanted was for something to happen to our little miracle. "What do you mean 'wrong'? What happened?"
"I don't know how to say this but...I think I'm pregnant again..." She trailed off slowly as I heard her sniffle into the phone. My head went blank and all I could hear were my own thoughts repeating over and over in my head: Twins? Twins?! TWINS?! No no no no no no no no no no no no...
"Megan...are you sure?" I asked slowly, trying not to upset her anymore than she already was.
Another sniffle and then she responded, "Well...yes and no." Her voice rose slightly as she continued, "The doctor thinks I might be carrying twins but he wants to run some tests just to be sure." She sniffled one more time before continuing, "But he also says there's a chance that it might just be one child."
"So what does that mean exactly? Which one is it going to be?" My head started clearing a bit as a small amount of hope surged through me.
Megan sighed into the phone and then said, "If it's only one then we're obviously having twins but if it's two then we'll have to make a decision about one of them." A pause followed by another deep sigh before she continued, "And we don't want to make that decision until we know for sure which one is healthy."
I sat there for moment processing everything she'd said so far before saying back into the phone, "So basically we'll be keeping our fingers crossed that your first ultrasound was right about us having just one child." Another simple nod followed by another sigh before she replied back with a slight smile in her voice, "Yeah...something like that." We both sat silent for another minute before hanging up with each other and heading off towards work respectively.
By the time finished getting ready for work and driving into the office parking lot I couldn't think straight anymore. The scariest part about all this wasn't even knowing if we were going to have twins or not. The scariest part was if we did have twins what would we do when they were born? Would we keep them both? Would we give away one of them so that Megan could still have her job? So many questions ran through my head on repeat as I tried to focus on work for most of the day but eventually gave up by early evening and headed home instead.
