A Spirited Adventure: Roberto and Angela's Fight for Lord George

I look to the side, and I see Angela's bright smile. We're walking down a cobblestone path, covered in flowers, with large hills on either side of us. The sun is shining bright in the sky, the birds are chirping, and the air is filled with a light breeze.

It's a perfect day for a walk in the country.

I turn my head to the other side, towards her as we walk hand in hand.

"You really outdid yourself this time, Angie," I say, grinning at her as we continue our walk. "This place is beautiful."

"Of course it is!" she says back at me with her bubbly voice. "What did you expect? A dump?"

"Well, there are plenty of those here too--"

"But they're not *ours*! This is our villa, remember?"

Ah yes, that's right. Lord George's villa. The one we just inherited. The one I would have been content enough to just live in for the rest of my life if I could have it my way... but this whole trip out here was actually Angie's idea. She wanted to go on an adventure-- some sort of quest, she called it-- to find some treasure hidden away somewhere by Lord George.

I didn't think much of it at first-- what kind of treasure could possibly be hidden away? And why would he hide something so valuable from us when he was so kind as to leave his entire estate to us?-- but after hearing Angie's idea more and more often these past few weeks... well, I decided to join her on this grand quest of hers.

And now here we are! Angie insisted we start at his estate so we could begin our journey proper once and for all!

I look around us again. The sun is still shining bright above us, although the clouds are starting to form overhead now that we've been walking for a while. We're making good progress though-- after all, this is *our* villa! We know every nook and cranny inside and out! This whole walk has been a breeze through here!

We pass by a small stream over on our left, flowing from under some rocks over into a small pond nearby where some fish swim about happily.

Angie turns her head towards me with a big grin on her face."Do you think George ever caught any fish over there?" she asks me excitedly. "Think about it: he lived here alone for years before we showed up; he probably went fishing all the time!" She turns her head back toward the pond as she walks along beside me, continuing her enthusiastic talk: "Maybe he caught his own dinner every night instead of ordering pizza like we do! He probably had *so* many stories to tell too... good thing we got him outta that horrible dungeon he was kept in..." Her voice trails off as she continues thinking aloud about her heroic rescue of Lord George from Countess Delfisa's dungeon prison deep within the earth somewhere far away from here... especially considering how *we* were taken there against our will... but that's no matter now! It's all behind us now! There's nothing but happy memories ahead of us now! And I'm just glad that Angie and I were able to experience all that together... even if we didn't know who each other was until after we escaped from Countess Delfisa... all thanks to Angie being able to pickpocket her ring and use it like a magic wand or something... which is pretty impressive considering she never actually picked pockets before... in fact she didn't even know what they were until I explained what they were and showed her how I did it... but yeah let's not focus on that right now; let's focus on today instead! Today is going great so far! Even if this place does seem kinda quiet without Lord George and all the servants around running around doing their duties; but still it's better than what it used to be after all right? No more fake family dinners where everyone pretended to get along just because they were supposed to; no more flimsy excuses made up by Angela whenever she did something bad (or when *I* did something bad); no more trying too hard by me to make friends with people who had no interest in becoming friends with me; no more lies told by Earl Francesco about his dark past when he wasn't nearly as dark as he made himself out to be; no more meeting new people who turned out not to be nice at all even though they seemed nice at first; no more hating Earl Francesco because he was such a stuck-up jerk despite acting nice whenever Angela or I were around; no more wishing that Earl Francesco would just disappear even though Angela said she liked him because he took care of us when nobody else wanted anything to do with us; no more wishing that Angela would just disappear because she was always getting herself into trouble while being snooty and rude 24/7 despite saying she liked Earl Francesco despite acting like she didn't really want anything to do with him (even though Earl Francesco tried really hard not to be mean towards her); no more having Earl Francesco pretend not to be mean towards Angela while also pretending like he didn't think Angela was annoying despite saying otherwise whenever anyone else was around; no more thinking about whether or not Earl Francesco had any romantic feelings for Angela when he obviously did given how he acted like he hated her so much even though nobody else thought it was weird or odd; no more wishing that Earl Francesco would go back home where he belonged after finding out about him being an earl who wasn't trying hard enough nor wanting anything else other than what he already had because being an earl meant nothing anymore after seeing how much rubbish was going on underneath his nose yet still allowing it all happen anyway; no more being surprised by news reports talking about how Earl Francesco died suddenly due to some "heart attack", only later finding out that someone killed him because he wanted what Earl Francesco had instead even though nobody knew who actually did it until later on even though people blamed each other anyway; no more feeling happy whenever Angela told me how much she liked Earl Francesco during those dinner parties after finding out about how everyone at home hated him without knowing why; no more wondering if things would be different if Earl Francesco hadn't acted like such a jerk around everyone while trying so hard not act like one himself during dinner parties while secretly being one despite trying his hardest not being seen as one by everyone else; no more worrying about whether or not Angela would ever be mad at me for liking both Lizzy and Richelle since those two girls were sisters yet couldn't stand each other (not knowing which one I liked better) even though neither girl knew about each other yet somehow knew about me liking them both instead even though I never told anyone else about this secret relationship between Lizzy and Richelle since Lizzy thought Richelle hated her for whatever reason yet couldn't figure out why regardless of Richelle doing everything possible not letting Lizzy know what was going on behind closed doors despite pretending like everything was fine between them while secretly hating each other at the same time until they finally found out they were sisters then started hating each other because they were sisters instead while still pretending like everything was fine between them even though they secretly hated each other behind closed doors anyways until they decided they'd rather hate each other secretly than openly without telling anyone else without letting anyone else know why yet still hating each other anyways without telling anyone else again without letting anyone else know why again either; but yeah forget all that stuff! Let's keep focused on today instead!)
