Anina's Epic Adventure
·
Published 6/3/2023Desperate for freedom, Anina, the formidable descendant of giants, embarks on a magical journey of self-discovery despite the dangerous obstacles in her way, leading to a heart-stopping climax when she must outwit an evil sorcerer using her own untapped strength to save herself.

“You know, that’s the fifth time I’ve had to fix your clothes this week.”
Anina rolled her eyes at her husband’s comment. She was getting more than a little tired of his remarks about the way she dressed. In fact, the only thing she really liked about him was his ability to fix her clothes.
“I don’t know why you like that dress so much, it doesn’t even fit you anymore!” he continued in an accusatory tone. “It was cute back when you were younger, but now it just looks ridiculous! Go change into something else!”
She sighed as she looked into the mirror and saw her reflection. The dress was indeed starting to look rather worn and tattered, but she couldn’t bring herself to get rid of it yet. It reminded her of better times, when everything had seemed so much simpler and happier. Shaking her head slightly to clear her thoughts, Anina returned to the conversation at hand.
“You know, if it wasn’t for you fixing my clothes, I would have thrown them away a long time ago! You act like I throw this dress on every day when all I do is wear my robe while we eat breakfast and dinner! Honestly, sometimes I think you forget that I am not actually a giantess anymore! I am only five feet tall; how can you expect me to wear dresses that are made for someone twice my size? Anyway, let me get changed so we can go pick up Liza from school before it gets too late.”
She grabbed one of her many identical robes from the closet and headed for the door where she paused for a moment as she looked back at her husband who was still looking quite disgruntled at how his wife chose to dress on a daily basis. Giving him a quick peck on the cheek which failed to improve his mood in any way whatsoever, she hurried out of their room and down the stairs where her daughter was waiting patiently for them to leave so that they could go play with the other kids outside.
“And then I threw the rock right into the tree and knocked off one of its apples! It was amazing because no one had ever done that before! So anyway, after everyone else went home my father took me into town and bought me some candy apples and then we went home again... That went by pretty fast didn’t it? Did you enjoy yourself anyways? I hope so because we have to go pick up mother from work soon... Picking up mother from work isn’t really fun because everyone stares at me whenever I walk in there but mother says it isn’t a big deal... But did you notice how everyone always gives their best performance when mother comes around? They all try harder then! Mother says it isn’t fair but maybe they feel intimidated by someone who is bigger than them... At least that is what mother says though sometimes I think she is just trying to make me feel better about going there... But enough about that let us hurry home before- AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT?????? *Screams* Oh dear! What happened?! Where did my house go? Why can't I see anymore!? *screams* Somebody help!!! *cries* Heeeellllp!!! *cries* MOTHER!!!! FATHER!!!! *cries* HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!! OH LORD HELP ME!!! PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THIS MONSTER!!!!! *Cries*
