Nathan 'Arcanis' Ryujn and the Abyss Riders

"So, you're the one?"

I looked up and saw a tall man with long black hair. His body was covered by a purple robe. He had a look that I couldn't describe. I knew he was powerful, but his presence made me uncomfortable.

"I guess so." I said, not knowing what else to say.

"So you know who I am?"

"You're the First King of Battle." I replied, "I've heard stories about your sorcery."

A smile crept on his face as he looked at me from top to bottom, inspecting my appearance. "Take off your shoes." He commanded, pointing at the floor with his right hand. I quickly slipped my shoes off and held them in my left arm. The First King approached me and placed his right hand on the back of my neck. He closed his eyes and started chanting. A blue glow appeared around him and enveloped us both. It felt like an hour, but then suddenly it was gone and we were standing in another room.

"Impressive... Your aura is purer than anyone I have ever met before." The First King said as he looked at me again with that curious expression. "Now let's see if you can use it..." He walked over to a table in the center of the room with markings on it and drew something on the surface using chalk. After several minutes he turned to me again. "Stand here." He pointed at a spot close to where he was standing previously and waited for me to move into position before continuing his work. After several minutes of tracing symbols and chanting, he drew a line across the middle of the drawing and finally walked away from the table towards me again. "Now kneel down."

I knelt down where he wanted me to kneel and waited for him to continue with whatever spectacle he had prepared for me this time. When I got down on my knees, he grabbed my head from behind with both hands and started chuckling uncontrollable while squeezing harder with each second that passed by until I couldn't take it anymore. I tried to scream out but nothing came out of my mouth except a silent groan as blood started dripping out of my mouth onto the floor where I kneeled next to him.

I felt like dying or passing out, but then suddenly all pain disappeared and instead there was this strange sensation that ran through my body making every muscle in my body tense up at once like someone was turning my bones into steel bars all at once. My eyes lost focus as everything turned white and I fell backwards unconscious on the ground when it went away after what felt like hours but was actually more like just a few seconds later as I regained consciousness in front of him again.

As soon as I opened my eyes again, I saw him kneeling down in front of me with his hands under my arms lifting me up onto my feet again in one quick motion which made him grunt loudly for a second but then continued without pausing for breath or rest any further forward until we reached another door where we entered into another room similar to the previous one except it had an altar in one corner with markings etched into it which made an image appear in front of us like some sort of hologram when we stepped closer to it until we stood right above it looking down onto its surface at eye level now without having to kneel down anymore since we were both standing on our feet now while being able to walk around it freely without restriction unlike before when we were kneeling down beneath it like some kind of prayer or supplication while performing some sort of ancient ritual which seemed like so much mumbo-jumbo before only moments ago when it was performed by him during our first meeting together in an adjacent room, but now had become so much more meaningful and important due to the fact that I could now understand its meaning after having been given such insight by him himself during our first meeting together inside this other room which was nothing more than an extension corridor leading towards this main room with something very special waiting for us both inside here for us to find together wherever he takes me next inside this room that we are walking towards now from where we are standing above that altar now towards yet another door marked on its surface which makes three doors total that have appeared here inside this room alone counting the one we used earlier outside upon entering here through earlier along with another one which led us inside here through here too earlier earlier along with yet another door still waiting patiently somewhere else inside this whole complex alone waiting patiently until we finally decide to move towards it so that we can enter through there too from wherever we are standing currently after leaving through whichever door we choose next after exiting through whichever door is chosen first instead!
