"You have to use the Double-Fist of Fury!"

I looked at my hands. They were getting a little big for these gloves. I was about to tell her when I caught the look in her eyes. She took a breath and continued, "Yes, you can do it! You've got this one in the bag!"

I didn't want to tell her that I had no idea what she was talking about.

She smiled. "You are going to kick his butt and win the Dragon Ball World Tournament!"

She reached over and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. It felt nice. She was pretty and smelled like flowers. Her eyes sparkled like jewels and her hair fell around her face like silk. My heart began to beat faster. I could hear it in my ears, like thunder after a storm or...something...yeah... I glanced away from her and noticed with an immense sense of horror that the dragon was looking straight at us. There was something on its back. A man. No wait, another dragon? It was hard to tell from here but he seemed bigger than the one I had been riding on all day long. The man on the other dragon seemed to notice us as well because he started giving us the evil eye while his steed began making a beeline straight towards us. This dragon's rider must be my opponent in this round of the tournament! We were screwed! I turned back towards Rajani and whispered urgently, "THIS IS NOT GOOD."

"What is your strategy?" she asked calmly as if she hadn't even noticed that we were about to be trampled into oblivion by two dragons who would soon be spitting fireballs at each other in an epic battle for the ages!

"Um..." What strategy? What did she mean? Suddenly, it hit me like a bolt from the sky! "Double-Fist of Fury!" I said triumphantly as I clenched my fists together so hard my gloves creaked under the pressure! "That's what I'll do!" I tried not to laugh out loud because it sounded really cool when I said it but now that I had said it aloud, it did sound kind of dumb.... But still!

She clapped joyfully and jumped up and down just like Rajani used to do whenever she got excited over something small like how cute our puppy was or how much she liked spending time with her Papa or Mama or...me.... Tears began forming in my eyes but before they could fall, Rajani leaned over again and kissed me softly on my lips. It felt warm and wonderful just like that day when we stood in front of the priest who told us how God wanted us to love each other and be happy together forever..... Then Rajani turned around towards the match waiting for me just ahead, put up her fists, imitating mine, grinned broadly then shouted: "Let's go BOYFRIEND!!! You've got this in the bag!!!"

Rajani's father started laughing loudly every time there was a funny part in the story of how Gopeshi won all those matches in the tournament against all odds which is precisely why he remembered every single word and nuance of their conversation so clearly even though he had drunk twenty pints of ale that night which is precisely why he remembered things so clearly even though he had drank twenty pints of ale that night...
