At the onset of our story, Grace and Ava, two sapphic lovers, boldly traverse the valleys and plains of South Africa with wild abandon, on their souped-up Harley-Davidsons. With a profound freedom, their crime spree brings both pleasure and peril. As the reverberations of their final escapade reach far and wide, news of their vulnerable nature begins to spread.

In a distant corner of the nation, a small Cambodian village, close to the banks of The Banshee space ship, Joe, our Elvis impersonator hero, wastes away in obscurity. Although his life of destitution is a stark contrast to the lives of those he had sought refuge, Joe continues to be haunted by a deep psychological turmoil stemming from his desire to reconcile the tensions between his two disparate worlds.

It is in this way our story both descends, and then builds upon itself as the tale wonderfully coalesces towards its tepid conclusion.

With Joe's imminent return to the village, the chaotic events set in motion on The Banshee space ship gain further momentum when it is revealed that the doctor onboard was intent on constructing a race of half-birds, half- humans. Meanwhile, Grace and Ava track Joe's meanderings, donned in their leather armor, possessing the courage and tenacity of warriors from a distant past. Their perfect rapport causes them to instinctively sense the gravity of their present.

The lives of these characters thread and then intersect in what is resoundingly a symbolic moment of triumph over oppression, chaos, and injustice. The pair demonstrates their invincibility in riding out to help rid Joe of his physical and psychological ailments as they band together in solidarity.
