Pawel's Dance with Destiny

End of The Beginning Pawel is attending school in an alternate Europe where chaos and violence prevail. One day he meets Eva, the most alluring woman he has ever seen. Love at first sight sweeps over them both, and they become inseparable. Eva draws out his adventurous and dashing nature, driving him to take chances he would usually abstain from taking. Through playful banter and provocative adventures, the nature of their relationship is tested through the smoke screens they both raise during conversations. Through a heated quarrel, they admit their growing love to each other, thus, launching the act two of their arc.

As Pawel and Eva continue to explore their passionate relationship, Eva begins to realize the depths of her own power. Secretly, she starts to use her influence over Pawel for her own benefit, taking advantage of his fearlessness and charm. Questions arise if this is Eva’s way of experimenting with her own power or if her true intentions are more malicious than harmless. Pawel reaches the midpoint of this tug-of-war between a greater good and an alluring passion and must choose between the two

Pawel finds out the hard way that Eva had not been truthful and was only using him to get what she wanted. He becomes torn between trusting his inner instincts and agreeing to go along with Eva’s machinations. Eva is relentless in her manipulating of him and will use any means necessary to get her desired results. Instead of submitting, Pawel decides to take a stand, remembering that sometimes love prevails despite one's choices.

In a fit of rage, Eva and Pawel are at each other’s throats, hurling insults and withholding forgiveness. Faced with a violent eruption of confused pain and passion, they desperately search for resolution through their banter. Emotions rising, they come close to a physical altercation before they both stop, exhausted and wrung out. Unexpectedly Pawel realizes that through this confrontation - Eva was testing his character - to reveal his inner strength. Eva realizes that his honesty and loyalty was what made him attractive, and complimenting him on his power of choice, she finally lay down her weapons. Here, we see that the journey towards understanding what really matters in the world around them is learnt through their relationship. As they hug and let go of their heated argument, the story finds its resolution without an epilogue.
