Taming the Dark Tormentor: Yalda's Journey for Justice

It all started with discovery of the unknown. Yalda, a 16 year-old girl living with her family in a small corner of Europe, spotted a mysterious figure lurking outside their house late one night. Her father, understanding the inherent danger, immediately grabbed his rifle and made his way outside. Realizing the urgency of the situation, he then called out for others in the household to back him up. Hesitant but obliging, the rest of the family begrudgingly joined forces and stood ready, guns loaded and swords raised. As they braced for the intruder to make a move, to everyone's shock, Yalda shouts out that she knows who this mysterious figure is. As it turns out, this is Yalda's long-lost brother who disappeared a few years ago, leaving their family without a trace of where he'd gone. Now that the family is reunited, it's time to get to work. Little did they know that an intense and evil force was amassing in the underworld of Europe, and the Altindson family was the only ones who could stop this never-ending stream of terror. Seeking confirmation, Yalda seeks out several local sources in the nearby village and slowly pieces together the scenario unfoldingoutside Europe. Armed with new knowledge, the family formulates a plan and sets out to do the unthinkable; confront and overthrow this unknown powerful force in a dire attempt to salvage the peace of their beloved town.

I

The family eventually winds up on the outskirts of an abandoned castle, heavily guarded by monsters. Two miles with treacherous terrain lies between their current position and their intended destination. Propelled by their newfound courage, Yalda decides to take the lead and spearheads an assault against the beasts with her new found abilities. Eager to prove herself as an indispensable asset in the team, she throws herself in front of the enemy's line of fire and effortlessly evades each beam. Outlasting her opponents, Yalda, supported by her family, succeeds in her mission and reaches the castle. Inside, however, they realize they are in for the surprise of their lives. Somehow, the fortress was so far advanced that its powerful machines posed a greater challenge than originally anticipated. With unanticipated technologies such as plasma throwers and advanced blaster weaponry, it was going to take something more powerful and intense than what they brought to take it down. Together, the Altindson family decides to scour the castle and look for something to put up a fight.

After a long and exhausting search, Yalda manages to locate the object that might just be able to help them in their mission. What lies inside the room, however, just might be too risqué for the family's tastes. She finds her brother on the other end of the room, holding a pair of scissors with a sudden and sinister look in his eye. Racing against the clock, Yalda had to determine what to do next; Faced with his cold, calculating stare, Yalda begins to understand the gravity of the situation; her brother had gone down a darker, darker road than she initially thought. Analyzing the room, she finds her brother's true intentions and knowing she can't let the powerful technology in his hands fall into the wrong hands, she decides to put a stop to his ambitions. Yalda engages him in an intense battle of bravery and wits and, spurred on by her family's supportive presence outside the doors, uses no combat and owns up to her wrongdoings. Convinced of her innocence, her brother puts down the scissors and comes to his senses, revealing a painful tale of abandonment, confusion and hatred was his motivation for his malicious trajectory. Realizing that his understanding of right and wrong was clouded, he provides the family with unexpected help to combat the external force and apologizes for his misunderstandings.

Grateful for their newfound insights, the Altindson family specializes their assault appropriately and continues their mission with newfound resolve. With the combination of Yalda's newfound abilities, her brother's information and her family's fighting spirit, the once insurmountable fortress becomes vulnerable, falling apart piece by piece. As the walls break and the lights dim, the forces of Evil are no more as the Altindson family faces its triumph. Defying all odds, Yalda and her family had won, unifying in the face of adversity. Exhausted and determined, the Altindson family makes its journey home, their first chapter closed and the new shoreline calling on the horizon. With newfound perspectives and strength, they look ahead to their new adventures, their world forever changed but the spirit of unity ever alive.
