All Might's Rescue: A Bakugo-Midoriya Conspiracy

Izuku's nose crinkled as he breathed in the pungent, musty air of the comic book shop. It smelled like mold, and paper, and ink. And Izuku loved it, because this was where he found his inspiration.

Izuku's eyes darted around the store, scanning for any sign of movement. He looked ready to bolt at a moment's notice; his shoulders were tense and his hands clenched by his side. The back of his neck was covered in sweat, and an obvious patch of red on his cheeks showed that he had been running for quite some time now.

"Whoa there buddy!" A voice called out from behind him. "You look like you're about to run away."

Izuku jumped about three feet in the air and whirled around so fast that he began to feel dizzy. He stumbled a bit before regaining his balance, looking up to see a tall man with short blonde hair and piercing green eyes smiling down at him. The man wore a white button-up shirt with black slacks, and he seemed to stand out in the musty shop. Izuku couldn't help but notice that everything about the man was...bright. Even his personality seemed to be as bright as a sunny day in California. Izuku was very curious about this man who was so bright...but he didn't have time for anything else right now!

"I-I'm just not sure if I can trust you or not!" Izuku said quickly, still keeping one eye on the door of the shop. "How do I know you won't turn me over to my pursuers?" His eyes flicked back toward the door before finally resting on the man standing in front of him. "Or worse, hand me over to your mysterious superior?" Whatever Izuku's pursuers were after, they had already tried all sorts of things to get it from him...and they weren't afraid of hurting innocent people either! If anyone were to find out what Izuku was trying to protect, then things would get even worse than they already were. He needed somewhere safe to hide until the danger passed...but he couldn't do that if there was some sort of catch or trick that he had missed! Izuku stared into the stranger's eyes with apprehension and fear swimming in his own eyes.

"Oh no young man," The stranger responded immediately with a smile on his face. "If I wanted you handed over, believe me: I could've done so long ago!" The stranger chuckled at this thought as Izuku blinked at him several times. "You see," The stranger continued once he had regained his composure, "my boss has been watching you for quite some time now."

"Watching me?" Izuku repeated incredulously, unable to keep himself from staring at the stranger who seemed far too nice to be related to All Might in any way whatsoever.

The stranger nodded gravely before responding, "Yes! He hasn't taken kindly to how you always seem so nervous when being chased by unknown characters."

Izuku frowned deeply at these words as he recalled all of the various times that he had almost been caught by those chasing him: first by Stain himself (who had managed to sneak up on him while hiding under a cardboard box), then again when Shigaraki had ambushed him from above (which caused Izuku to fall into a nearby river), and most recently when Mr Shota Aizawa had arrived unexpectedly (forcing Izuku into action). It wasn't that those chasing him were particularly good at finding him...it was more that he was simply too easy to track! All it really took for anyone trying to catch Izuku Midoriya was a bit of paper or an empty alleyway...it really didn't matter! Whenever something started going wrong for Izuku , it always ended up getting worse every time someone new got involved! There always seemed to be some sort of shady character lurking around whenever things started going south for him! How many times did he need to get saved before someone realized how bad he actually was at this whole superhero thing? Apparently more than enough times considering how bad things were looking right now! Things were only getting worse whenever new characters entered the fray; those chasing after him became stronger each time someone new appeared! But what did this strange character want with him? Is this guy actually here to help? Or is this some sort of cruel trick?!

"What are you doing here?!" Was all that Izuku managed to ask while still eying every corner of the shop suspiciously while also keeping an eye on the door just in case. He kept close watch on the stranger above all else; despite how friendly this person seemed, Izuku couldn't trust anyone anymore these days! Someone might have lied about their motivations or goals before, but why would someone continue lying if they knew that their identity would never be revealed?! It made no sense! Anyone and everyone could be pretending just like last time! This guy could just be another fake trying to get something from Izuku! Why would anyone truly want to help someone like him? Not even All Might ever helped him directly; everything All Might did only ever helped others indirectly instead of helping poor little Izuku himself directly! But why?! Why did no one want anything from Izuku anymore?! What did everyone want? Did they want fame? Did they want money? Did they want power?! Did they think that nobody would care if they hurt little harmless Deku?! Did they think they could take whatever they wanted from whoever they wanted?! Were there people out there who think like that!? Did strong people think like that?! That angered Deku more than anything else; someone had stolen something precious from him without asking first! Who did these villains think they were!? Who gave them permission!? Who told them it would be okay!? They had no right taking what wasn't theirs!! Not anymore!! Those villains hurt Deku's momma...they hurt All Might...and now they're trying to hurt Deku too!! They're going after Deku's momma again!! They're going after Deku next!! They're going after All Might again!! And what will happen then?? What will happen if those villains win?? What happens if Deku loses?? Will other villains come after Dekuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!'!!!
