Muthumanee, an Indian girl from an impoverished family, starts to lead a normal life in Middle Renaissance India. However, this all changes strange occurrences start happening eerie whispers, unexplainable shadows, items moving by themselves. gossip of mysterious and ancient forces rising from the shadows. Mostly ignored by her peers, and scorned by her family, very few believe her. But with an unusually strong sense of justice and a flaming heart, Muthumanee embarks on a journey armed with courage and wit, to find the source of these strange events.
- On her quest, she consults a powerful practitioner of ancient magical arts, who is normally averse to public interference. She discovers that a dark supernatural force has awoken, and it is closely related to her hidden magic powers. She is determined to save those around her, and the practitioner agrees to help her in the quest. However, he warns her of the risks she might face.
- Combatting evil forces, Muthumanee faces distress and anguish as the journey takes her into more danger with every turn a mysterious tower locked away, a dangerous battleground, to powerful spells and alien creatures, every step she makes is filled with horror and dread. Her newly found mentor utilizing ancient knowledge to help her, and her own hidden magic powers aiding her, she travels deep in to the underworld only to realize the severity of of the situation - evil powers manipulating and controlling the population creating large scale desolation and sadness.
- Through many risks, she manages to gain access to a forbidden land filled with powerful dark forces, she confronts the originator of the chaos and defeats it. But heavy is the price she has to pay in the process. The evil forces had also left their mark on her, leaving her burdened with sadness, as she realises that she too is an agent of darkness, controlled by the forces.
Yet undeterred, and with newfound knowledge, she sets out in search for a way to help herfriends and family using her magical powers, and helps the population to heal — physically, mentally, and spiritually. Using deeper, patient and spiritual methods, rather than the unpredictable and dangerous approaches, she is determined to not only make the world a safer place, but also a better one.
