The Eels' Dreamkeeper: Sandy's Undersea Adventure

Sandy Cheeks had been working at the Meat Factory for years. She’d seen all kinds of meat walk in and out, caught them all and prepared them for the grill. But now it was closing down.

Sandy walked over to the manager’s office, there was a sign saying “Closing Sale - Everything Must Go!”

“Well, this is it” she thought as she pushed open the door and walked in. The office was empty save for the manager who quickly saw her enter and approached her with a friendly smile.

“Hello, Sandy! How may I be of assistance?” he asked as he put his hand on her shoulder and looked at her expectantly.

“I heard that you are closing down. Is that true?” Sandy asked, alarmed.

“Yes, I am afraid so. We just can’t make enough money to keep running operations anymore. So I am afraid we will have to shut down soon. Maybe even tonight!”

“But... But... Why? Who is going to buy all this meat? It is all rotten anyway! No one would want to buy it! This place is a mess! You said you were gonna clean it up but you never did! You lied to me! I hate you!” Sandy said as tears started rolling down her cheeks.

The manager hung his head down in shame and spoke: “I know it looks bad but I tried my best... But... But there was just not enough money left to keep running this place anymore... I am really sorry about that but maybe if you go home now you might still be able to get some dinner before we close down for good tonight... Thank you for your hard work, Sandy, maybe we will meet again someday, somewhere else... Goodbye...” And with that, he turned his back towards Sandy and started writing something on a piece of paper on his desk.

Sandy quickly gathered her things up and ran out of the office crying like never before because now she knew that she would have no place to go home to and no food waiting for her since she had spent most of her paycheck buying meat from the factory which she never got paid for in order to help out her family who also worked at the factory as well as many other factories like it around the ocean floor. Now she was alone and hungry and what's worse: She didn't even know how long she could hold her breath underwater without drowning once she left the factory without any air tanks or anything like that because they were too expensive and besides, lots of people were employed by these factories so they wouldn't go out of business anytime soon thus leaving no need for those kinds of equipment. Oh how happy she was when she first got hired here at this job and how sad she was now because now it seemed like everything had changed for the worse in an instant - all thanks to some human called Mr Hulky who wanted meat but didn't want to pay any money for it so he made everyone else pay with their life instead while he carried on living happily ever after eating steak nonstop every day - or so he thought until Sandy came along which meant that everything wasn't going exactly as planned after all since Mr Hulky forgot about one little thing: Every time someone eats meat they get slightly more intelligent than they used to be beforehand but they also grow bigger brains which require more oxygen than normal brains do so when they run out of oxygen they die which meant that Mr Hulky was going to die pretty soon after eating all that meat if he ate any more of it without paying anyone back for making him smarter which meant that he would end up being eaten by one of his pets sooner or later - because animals are also getting smarter every time someone eats meat cooked by them - except for fish which don't seem to do anything whatsoever when people eat their meat although nobody knows why this is so yet but Sandy Cheeks does not know what fish are anyway because fish are dumb creatures who usually eat each other or get eaten by other animals instead so there is no point in trying to figure out why fish are that way because nobody cares about them anyways - at least not Sandy Cheeks who only cares about herself right now because if she doesn't find some way out of this mess then she will surely drown in despair very soon after everyone else closes down their business forever thanks to Mr Hulky's greediness and stupidity!
