The Iron Age Union: Rondivar and Johnstra

"Dang it, Jane! I told you not to put the lamp there!"

"Well, I didn't think that giant would be having sex on the street!"

The two people were arguing in their apartment. The tall man's voice grew louder and more annoyed as he pointed at the lamp that was now lying on the floor. The tall woman looked embarrassed as she stared at the lamp.

"It's because of you we ended up with a giant in our living room! He might break something and it'll be your fault!"

The woman was ready to argue back, but decided against it when she saw how angry the man was. He had a point. If they had known a giant was going to have sex in front of their house, they wouldn't have placed that lamp there. And they definitely wouldn't have left their apartment until he was done. But why did he have sex on their front porch? Did he not know there were people living in this house?

As she continued staring down at the lamp, she suddenly noticed something glimmering underneath it. She picked up the lamp and found a small golden object on the ground. It looked like a coin, but she didn't recognize what currency it was from. There were some eyes engraved on one side of it while a dragon coiled around its body and towards its tail on the other side.

She could hear her husband grumbling as he picked up broken pieces of wood from the floor.

"Did you find anything?" he asked her.

"Ehm... I think so," she said holding out her hand with the coin in it. "Do you think this is important?"

He took it from her hand and turned it over in his own hands for a moment before putting it on his palm and looking at it again. It looked like nothing special given how tiny it was, but he couldn't deny that there was something about it that kept drawing his attention back to it despite all that had happened today. He felt an inexplicable urge to keep it close to him and hide it somewhere safe where nobody could find or take it away from him.
