Cocoons of Love and Laughter

Molly and Bob rush back home, butterflies in their stomachs as they anticipate their first night sleeping with their new bundle of joy. Everything is ready the baby's room, the diapers, even the warm quilted sheet that lies in the middle of the spacious crib, awaiting their baby's arrival.

The couple lovingly cradle the child in their arms and put him to bed. As they tiptoe out of the room, they peek through the doorway and bask in the knowledge their baby boys has a safe, peaceful environment would give them years of happiness and prosperity.

For the first few weeks of their baby boy’s life, Molly and Bob couldn't be happier; the nursery was full of joy and love, the quilted sheet retaining the heartfelt hugles of the new everyday for them. Even Bob's sister Jane couldn't resist dropping by to play with the baby, bringing a smile on their faces as Jane and the baby laughed together.

It didn’t take long for Molly and Bob to discover that their little baby had four very special friends, who, without fail, showed up at night and transformed their nursery into something magical. Other babies, who, like theirs, had been abandoned and taken in by families who cherished their arrival and could afford all the necessary comforts necessary for their care.

Molly and Bob twisted in their sheets each night, unable to sleep, just to witness the beauty of what happened everyday. The five babies would get tucked into the cushioned quilts accompanied by sweet lullabies, in a utopian atmosphere only made possible by a single lamppost casting a soft pearly hue, while they took off their clothes and put their thick, soft diapers on. Pastel tones from the ambient lamplight offset the furry texture of their diapers to be viewed as if it was a thousand glistening diamonds.

Then the dream would begin. A dreamy scene that would enchant Molly and Bob. As if the stardust skies looked down upon these little angels in the night, tissue after tissue, tissues of all sizes and colors, started to pour from the heavens above, getting each one of them fully greeted and cuddled by a million of petals in hues of pinks, blues, whites and yellows. An ethereal pillow fight of joy would take place, until all the laughs and giggles shaped the room into one full of lightheartedness and soul warming embrace.

Molly and Bob couldn't hardly contain their admiration and affection. After the laughter and hugs, the babies all crept off to sleep in the comfort and security of the quilted sheets and Molly and Bob, listening to their snores, took delight in feeling accomplished in their decision to give these little foundlings a warm and safe home.

It had been a long, peaceful and meaningful day, one that both brought a smile to the couple's faces and one that the parents were sure to enjoy forever. Just like that, Molly and Bob experienced moments of pure joy and content that shaped into a story of a dreamy reality, full of laughter and love.
