FlightGooden stands on a rooftop of a sleek American skyscraper, confidently gazing over the city beneath him. Unseen in the shadows, his silver cloak obscuring any way to identify him from the citizens that scroll along the streets like ants. His mission, to find those responsible of recently unleashing the dark arts of crime upon the country and bring them to justice. The city has entered a new era of darkness, the laws of manor crumbling, and it is up to FlightGooden to make things right.

Suddenly, Flight catches the scent of something in the air an outlaw near. It doesn't take him long to find the perpetrator, a criminal scoundrel of the last decade, on a rooftop across from his. Nimbly, Flight leaps from building-to-building until he's face to face with his prey. Hands on hips, FlightGooden stares down the criminal and announces, "You won't get away with this, villain! I am here to seek justice and make sure this city sees the light of day again." After a scathing one-liner is exchanged between the two, FlightGooden throws himself into the fray and the fight ensues. Much like any thrill ride, FlightGooden takes the round one but the criminal isn't done yet. The criminial soon escapes into the depths of the city and FlightGooden knows that this isn't the last he'll see of him.

A day goes by and FlightGooden is growing frustrated with the lack of progress. Everyone has lost faith in him, with nightmares of the criminal's escape clouding the citizens' judgments. Even so, FlightGooden is not about to give up, no matter how hard it gets. Closing his eyes, Flight thinks of the old days when he and Flash ran a race in an alternate universe, with Flash receiving the Gold medal, and Flight standing with Silver. His Silver medal has become something of a running gag for his old colleagues, and for good reason, with the world associating Flight only with the shadow of "second-best". No matter how fast he runs, no matter how hard he tries, FlightGooden will never experience the glory of Gold. Just like then, FlightGooden is determined more than ever to succeed. Dedicating himself to finding the criminal, FlightGooden dives deeper into the covert depths of the city, learning of their secrets, shadows, and alleys, gaining an intimate knowledge of the city itself. Everywhere he goes, FlightGooden is met with scared faces and cold shoulders, people unable to recognize his true song, the one of justice. Finally, through hours of searching, FlightGooden receives a clue in the form of a rumor about the suspicious activities of the criminal.

Grabbing a hold of this thread of new evidence, FlightGooden finally manages to track the criminal down to a warehouse deep in the slums of the city, unaware of the deadly trap the criminal set. Filled with rage, excitement, and daring, FlightGooden bursts open the warehouse door to find the criminal cradling a mysterious object, ready to use its evil powers to corrupt the city. Knowing how great the threat is FlightGooden desperately swoops in to prevent the villain from activating the device. Between Flight's determination to protect the city and the criminal's determination to have his way, neither are willing to give in. With Flying dances back and forth from shadows to sky, a battle feels inevitable.

The cat and mouse game continues and leads to a daring standoff between the two, both determined to take the other out and neither willing to give up. FlightGooden avoids the criminals blows and with one powerful strike, sends him flying. FlightGooden is about to secure the area and deactivate the mysterious device, until he hears a faint noise coming from behind him. Before FlightGooden can react, he is struck by a laser, consumed in white light until he falls to the ground. The criminal stands over FlightGooden, knowing his victory. With a mighty intake of air, FlightGooden blasts himself off the cold ground, scraping the barrel of the laser with the tips of his costumes. With one final charge and defiant glance, FlightGooden hits the criminal so hard that he collapses, unconscious. FlightGooden's mission is finally completed and he climbs to the top of the warehouse, the criminal in toe. As the light of day cascades on the scene, FlightGooden stands triumphant, the criminal at his feet. Recognition is staring back at him from the masses, who understood the mission he set for himself and finally see courage, justice, and cunning embodied in FlightGooden's figure. As cheers overtake the street, FlightGooden allows himself one smile and for the first time, he recognizes that Silver can shine as bright as Gold. From that day forth, FlightGooden was a remembered and revered superhero in 4th century BCE America. Though he never got the credit that Flash did nor the gold medal of success, FlightGooden crafted a new goal in life, to establish himself as a respected defender of justice and truth. The end.
