Crag Hack, the warrior king of the Deserts and leader to his people, could not think of a time when things had been worse. The Dark Horde, a group of orcs and goblins lead by an evil necromancer, cast an ominous shadow over the world. In their wake they had left destruction and death behind them. They had destroyed villages and slaughtered entire families. Their only motivation: to kill Crag Hack, who was known as a hero in the whole land.

Crag started to wonder if he had ever seen a light at the end of the tunnel during his many years as leader. His people once lived in harmony with other races but that was before the Dark Horde had appeared. After their defeat at Crag’s hand, their leader had left for the mountains where he was believed to have found followers who worshipped him like a god.

The mountain trolls were great allies to Crag’s kingdom once but now they lived far away from everywhere else and were hard to reach. Crag hoped that they would help him again after all those years but he knew that it would be difficult to get in contact with them again. The trolls kept themselves hidden from others, even though Crag wanted to reach out to them for help in this dire situation.

The attack came as expected. When Crag and his fellow warriors noticed that smoke rose from one part of their land, they ran towards it quickly on their horses. It was a village where there hadn’t been any inhabitants for quite some time now since most people already fled deeper into the Deserts since the Dark Horde first appeared.

It was no surprise that they chose this place to attack; it gave them more space to move around without being spotted immediately. The warriors could only hope that they wouldn’t be too late to stop them!

Bloodlust shone in the eyes of the orcs when they saw that innocent villagers were slaughtered right before their eyes by the Dark Horde as soon as they arrived. Instead of running away or surrendering, these ruthless creatures seemed eager for more bloodshed!

Even though he was fighting for his life, Crag couldn’t help but feel sick at seeing how enthusiastic these evil creatures were about killing innocent people. Not even he himself could be so cruel! He suddenly realised how much responsibility weighed upon his shoulders when he thought about it like this… There were thousands of lives depending on him!

Crag felt helpless; he couldn’t fight all those enemies alone but neither could he flee from them! They would chase him down until there was nothing left of him than bones! He didn’t want that… He didn’t want his people to suffer because of his cowardice!

Just then, he heard something stirring up in one part of the village; loud thumping sounds echoed through the streets while everything started shaking violently! When Crag turned around towards where this noise came from, what he saw made him speechless… Huge rock trolls emerged from underground and started attacking everyone around them with all kinds of weapons imaginable!

He wasn’t sure if they were here because they heard about trouble in their old home town or if it was just pure chance but either way these welcome allies took matters into their own hands and began fighting back against the Dark Horde warriors who looked shocked at first but then got angry about being attacked by these huge rock creatures!
