The Trauma of the Cyber Samurai
·
Published 2/23/2023In an Orwellian future, a cyber Samurai faces off against a powerful Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team. In this epic confrontation, the Samurai is left standing among the dead, and he soon discovers a mysterious organization intent on changing the way justice is served. In the end, only one man can challenge the status quo and redefine justice - but what is he willing to risk?
**The rain blinded the SWAT team, streaming down their helmets and through their visors. It was a heavy rain, hard and heavy, like bullets pounding down on the rooftop. The team crouched behind their Humvee and discussed their options.
* “How do you suppose he’s not dead?” one of the men asked.
* “I don’t know, I can’t see him! Maybe he’s hiding in the building… or maybe he’s a ghost or something! My eyes are starting to burn from the rain!” another said.
* “I think we should just go in there. He must be bleeding out by now. Look at his hand! Half of it is gone! We got him, for sure!”
* “No way man, that would be suicide! If we go in there he will kill us all without a second thought! If we wait him out, we can win this easily! We just have to stay safe and keep our heads down. He won’t last long out there in that storm!”
The SWAT team waited for ten minutes before they started to get impatient. They were exposed to the rain and had no shelter whatsoever, aside from their Humvee which provided some cover, but not much. They were tired of waiting; they wanted to end this quickly so they could go home to dry off and then call it a day. The SWAT leader was holding up well, but his men were getting antsy. He looked over at his men who were crouched low behind their Humvee and tried to talk them down into submission.
* “Listen guys, we have all the time in the world here. We have food and water so we don’t have to worry about that just yet. Let’s just wait for him out here for a few more hours until he gets exhausted and dies! I am sure that– hey what was that? Did you guys hear that? A voice? Is somebody talking? Do you see anybody out there? Should I go out and check it out? Hell no I am not going out there alone! What if he ambushes me?! That is stupid idea! If someone wants to go with me, I will go check it out. Anybody? No takers? Fine then… who knows where that voice came from anyway… maybe I am hearing things… let’s just stay put for now boys… yeah, that's right... just stay put… nobody move… okay okay okay okay okay okay…"
The SWAT team waited for another hour or two before one of them took matters into his own hands and decided to risk his life by checking it out himself. Again, the SWAT leader tried talking him down:
* “No man, don't do it! You'll die if you go out there!"
Before he could stop his man though, he bolted across the roof and ducked behind some stairwells when he saw the Samurai standing amongst a pile of bodies on top of a platform in front of a door leading downstairs into another room full of hostages who were being held at gunpoint by one of the Samurai's henchmen wielding an AK-47 rifle with an extended magazine sticking out of its receiver (for extra firepower). The SWAT officer peered around the corner like a snake ready to strike when suddenly an arm appeared through the door next to him pointing an AK-47 at him as well with a finger on its trigger ready to fire at any moment. Suddenly worried about his safety once again, he ran back across the roof sprinting away from danger like a gazelle across savannah grassland after spotting a lioness' silhouette in the distance ready to pounce on him like prey should she spot him running away from her behind some trees or bushes nearby: scared shitless but trying not to show it so that she does not see him running away from her or else she would give chase thinking he is fleeing because she is creeping up on him slowly enough for him not to notice her approach (which would soon change if she follows him around too much longer because eventually she would catch up with him when her stealthy stalking catches up with her). The SWAT officer stopped running when he reached his comrades on top of their Humvee: panting heavily while catching his breath with sweat pouring down his face while wiping it off with his forearm while looking back towards where he came from with fear in his eyes trying not to look at anyone else's face in case they think less than highly of him for losing his nerve like one might lose faith in their god after failing to live up to expectations set forth by believing followers: disappointed in themselves for letting everybody down including themselves but also disappointed in those who are responsible for putting too much pressure on them which made them feel like they had no choice but flee when things got ugly instead of jumping straight into action like true warriors normally do without thinking twice about it: these are normal reactions after all since anyone would feel this way under similar circumstances (unless they are crazy perhaps). This time though things got even worse because soon after retreating from danger exhaustedly after successfully evading death's clutches yet again (he survived thanks mostly due to adrenaline) along comes Mr Samurai himself who walks straight towards where he was hiding still unaware of what happened in front of him moments ago: making eye contact with one another as if both men knew each other personally even though they had never met before: somewhere deep inside they both understood each other though because they had something very important in common – both men were warriors through-and-through – men born into battle destined never to die peacefully – men cursed by gods with minds capable of changing reality itself simply because they refused accept death as final despite all odds stacked against them: hearts strong enough to overcome anything thrown at them – men born blessed and privileged beyond imagination – men who defied death itself by refusing succumb submit or surrender no matter how many times fate tried taking them down – men who lived only by fighting tooth-and-nail against enemies lining up against them by doing everything within their power not only keeping themselves alive but also ensuring survival chances for loved ones whom they cannot bear living without -– all born equal under watchful eyes watching over them protecting them from harm whenever possible but ultimately unable-to-see-the-future powerless against destiny itself -– souls intertwined forever destined never forget each other no matter how far apart they will ever be existing simultaneously throughout eternity existing on different planes separated only by space -– Mr Samurai himself recognized Mr SWAT Officer without even saying anything: both understood what actions needed taking place next -– Mr Samurai drew his sword while Mr SWAT Officer drew his gun ready aim take careful aim at Mr Samurai's head aiming right at between eyes as if this was only natural thing in world wanting nothing more than ending Mr Samurai once and for all so that neither ever has need worry about seeing each other ever again -—Mr Samurai charged straight towards Mr SWAT Officer moving quicker than human eyesight could perceive: moving so fast -—Mr SWAT Officer fired shot squarely hitting Mr Samurai squarely between eyes as if acting as messenger delivering fatal news from sun god announcing end times bringing forth destruction unto earth -—Mr Samurai did not slow down until finally reaching Mr SWAT Officer cutting through air inches above Mr SWAT Officer's head causing both man stand motionless staring amazed upon each other realizing that Mr Samurai somehow missed -—Mr SWAT Officer thought "did I miss?" -—Mr Samurai thought "did I miss?" -—Mr Samurai raised sword preparing slash downward onto Mr SWAT Officer's head when suddenly Mr SWAT Officer pulled trigger again shooting second bullet dead center hitting Mr Samurai directly between two eyes causing white blood spray foreshadowed end times moments later bringing forth destruction unto earth -—Mr Samurai fell backwards dead instantly killing everyone else standing behind him as well dying happy knowing his beloved wife forgave him finally accepting responsibility for past misdeeds knowing she always loved him anyway no matter what bad things may have happened during times past knowing she always believed good meant triumph over evil knowing she always believed good meant justice over injustice knowing she always believed good meant respect for life over disrespect for life knowing she always believed good meant honor over dishonor knowing she always believed good meant forgiveness over retribution knowing she always believed good meant understanding over ignorance knowing she always believed good meant love over hate knowing her husband meant well loving her whole heartedly forever loving Mrs Wife forever living happily ever after
Why did God create women? Because you couldn't find six honest people *Who wanted sex more than money.*
