Tommy's Loosely Tied Odyssey

* Tommy is a bit of a loner.

* He’s spent all day sunning himself on the beach, and now it’s time to take a dip in the ocean.

* At first he thought that it might be useful to have some sort of floatie, but then he realized that this was the 21st century and there wasn’t any need for that anymore.

* Besides, it would have been hard to carry a floatie back with him through the trees.

* So he just grabbed his bathing trunks, a towel, and some sunscreen, and headed off to the ocean.

* It was getting close to sunset as he reached the shoreline.

* Tommy laid out his towel and set his sunglasses down next to it.

* He glanced around briefly, making sure no one was looking before pulling his swimsuit up over his head and stuffing it into his backpack.

* Then he started walking into the ocean, quickly dunking himself under the water so nobody could see.

* The cool water felt fantastic as he swam out towards where he had seen an underwater reef when he was on land earlier in the day.

* When he reached the reef, he floated on his back and closed his eyes while soaking in both the sun and the sea water.

* After a while, he got bored with floating on his back and started doggy-paddling along the bottom of the reef until he came across an area with lots of colorful fish swimming around between him and another part of the reef.

* A few minutes later, Tommy saw something else closing in on him from behind: a school of barracudas!

* He panicked as they quickly surrounded him.

* What was going on? Did they want to eat him? Did they think they were sharks or something? Tommy didn't know what to do.

* In desperation, Tommy took a deep breath and let out all of his air at once right into the face of one of the smaller barracudas who had gotten too close for comfort.

* The force of Tommy's exhalation pushed that particular barracuda right into another one behind it, causing enough of a chain reaction that they all flew away from him sideways in various directions while flapping their pectoral fins like crazy because they couldn't get enough lift to fly away properly.

* As soon as they cleared off enough for him to breathe without having them in his face again (and hopefully not chomp down on him by mistake), Tommy took a deep breath and held it for as long as he could before finally letting it go again - this time into their faces! This caused them all to fly away from him even more crazily than before, clearing away even more distance from him than last time so that he could take another deep breath without fear of being assaulted by their jaws again!

* Once again feeling like he had more breathing room than before, Tommy took another deep breath...and another...and yet another! Each time letting loose with all of his lung-power right into their faces! Now all of those barracudas had been driven further away from him than they had ever been before since they first started following him, leaving him alone in the middle of an empty expanse where none of them dared venture! ####
