The sun began to set over the great ocean as the pirate captain Raz approached his target. The Sage Chrono had been making a name for himself as of late, calling himself the Fox Sage. There was no doubt that he was a formidable foe, but Raz had a plan.

His ship was small and fast, capable of quick maneuvers. His crew was small and deadly - deadlier than those who sailed with the Fox Sage. Raz's power increased the closer he was to his knife, a fact which he planned to use against his enemy.

"Captain! We're approaching the cave," one of the crew members yelled from the crow's nest.

"Excellent work. Everyone get ready, we don't have much time before sunset," Raz replied, closing his eyes and focusing on his knife. He could feel it's power growing within him as he channeled it's energy through his body. He gripped the hilt tightly, savoring the feeling of anticipation.

"We got movement!" Another crew member called out from below deck, "Looks like two men walking out of the cave!"

The second sailor's words were cut off by an explosion that sounded further down shoreline. The detonation lit up the whole surrounding area as both men shielded their eyes from the light. When they were able to see again, all that remained where their targets were standing was two gigantic trees being uprooted from the ground and floating away into opposite directions by unseen forces.

Raz grinned confidently as he turned to look at his crewmates on deck, who looked back at him wide-eyed and confused. They weren't expecting anything so powerful out of him yet, but their expressions would change soon enough.

"I told you he wasn't someone to be trifled with," Raz said nonchalantly as he turned towards his target again. As if on cue, another explosion ripped through the air in front of his ship just seconds later; this time however it took place directly underneath them. The impact threw most of the crew overboard into the ocean while those who managed to remain on deck were sent flying into various parts of their own ship. "Take us in!" Raz ordered after recovering from the blast, "We'll follow them underground."

A few minutes later, everyone had managed to regain consciousness and get back into position on board their now mostly destroyed vessel; they prayed that no one saw what happened to them before they could make it back home safely. Just then one of them noticed a faint glow ahead that seemed to grow brighter as they approached it until they reached a dead end at a large cliff face with a hole in its side wide enough for their boat to fit through.

"It seems our targets found us," one of them said ominously as Raz eyed up their new surroundings carefully; this certainly wasn't what he expected for a hideout but it would do nonetheless; there were only two entrances in or out so it didn't matter which way they went in since there was nowhere for anyone else to go either way except maybe jump off this ledge into certain death far below them. "Let's get moving."
