Beidou and Marshalle: A Timeless Love

"So, let me get this straight," said the young man. "You're from Atlantis, and you were born a thousand years before Jesus?"

"Yes."

"But that's impossible!" he exclaimed. "Atlantis sunk thousands of years ago! It's just a myth!"

"I know it sounds crazy," she replied. "It's hard to believe, but it's true. I'm not lying to you."

The young man looked at her curiously. He had never been lucky with girls. He didn't have a lot of experience with them after all, as he was only nineteen years old when they met. But he could tell that Marshalle was different than the rest. She had dark black hair that would flow in the wind behind her whenever they walked together. Her grey eyes were mysterious and enchanting to him, and her skin was the color of ivory, which seemed to glow under the moonlight like a radiant beacon for him to follow.

And he followed it all the way to an unknown destination, where she showed him a cave under the water containing a strange-looking vehicle that had washed ashore from her island. As she explained how it worked and how it had transported them to his world, he asked her if she had friends or family here in Japan, or anywhere else on Earth for that matter. She told him that no one else survived the sinking of Atlantis except for her.

She told him how she was cursed long ago before birth, as were all her people, to live forever but never age or die. She told him about their leader Orin who betrayed them all by destroying their homeland through war and greed until some kind of strange magic sent them all into exile from their home world thousands of years ago, leaving most of them dead in the process and those who survived lost without hope.

He thanked her for explaining everything to him, and despite being skeptical about it all, he believed her because she seemed sincere and genuine. They fell in love that first night together under the stars as they spoke about their pasts together over some wine and sake. She stayed with him for three days after that, until she had to return home again to her people beneath the waves where they lived peacefully with each other within their own subaqua kingdom of Atlantis.

Their love was so strong that they wanted to see each other as often as possible. Thus, Marshalle took him underwater with her to Atlantis whenever she could so they could enjoy each other's company in person, instead of waiting for ages before they could see each other above water again.

"Yeah, well… I mean…"

"So… your parents don't approve of us being together?"

"Yes, well… I mean… Look, I know we've known each other for only three months now but I really feel like we can make this relationship work somehow someday soon."

She gifted him with a cute little stuffed animal as a token of their love, and their relationship grew stronger with each passing day. They cherished their moments together, visiting one another both above and below the waves. As their love blossomed, they held onto the hope that someday they may find a way to be permanently united, no longer separated by the barriers of sea and land.

But for now, they made the most of the time they had together, and the young man couldn't imagine his life without her. When they were apart, he would cling to the stuffed animal she gave him, longing for her embrace and counting the days until they could be reunited. "Please," he whispered to himself, "I don't want this dream to end yet…"
