“So like, let me get this straight. You want us to be a three-way couple.” Mitchell said to Kitty.

“Yeah,” Kitty replied as she munched on her cheese curl. “Why not? I mean, you two are already banging each other in my room every night. Why not just save some time and do it all together?”

“But that’s just sex!” Caleb shouted from across the room. “What about love? What about romance? What about getting married? Kids? Taking our kids to school? Going to work every day? All of that boring stuff?”

Mitchell and Kitty looked at each other with a puzzled look on their faces before they laughed in unison.

“Caleb, you know what I hate most about America is how you guys think everything has to have some deep meaning or be perfect or be amazing or else you’re totally fucked up and you don’t belong here. Well guess what: there is no magic formula for happiness. It doesn't exist! There's not going to be some magical moment when everything becomes so fucking perfect that suddenly we'll all be free from pain and suffering forever and ever! Dating is stupid because if you take the plunge and decide to get married, then chances are you're still going to experience heartbreak, jealousy, greediness, anger, sadness and all the rest of human emotions throughout your life together. It's all part of a relationship! The only difference between dating and marriage is that it lasts longer because now there's even more time for sadness and pain! But with Kitty, Caleb and me living together as a three-way couple, we can share all those beautiful moments together too! You know what I love most about being in a relationship with these two people right here? I don't have to worry about cheating at all! Because guess what guys: when you're drowning in an ocean of love together with two other people who care deeply for one another like Kitty, Caleb and I do, then there isn't any need to look elsewhere for affection! You guys really should try it sometime."
