It was an ungodly storm. Rain came down in sheets and the gale winds were going to tear the shelter apart. The group of six had been exploring for weeks, ever since they heard of a lost city filled with riches beyond their wildest dreams.

“We need to pull together!” Jeanine yelled over the roar of the storm, “Or we’ll all die here!”

The other five nodded in agreement, huddling around the pitiful fire that was struggling to stay lit.

“So, where is it?” asked Robert, “The city? We must be getting close if it can survive this!”

Jeanine smiled at him and nodded, she had never seen someone so young be so set on adventure. They had all left their homes behind, but Robert seemed to have no regrets about it. He had met an older man in the pub who told him about Gosdoroth and now he was here. But this was not how she expected her treasure hunt to end.

She looked out into the tempest and saw a shadow looming in the distance. She squinted as she tried to get a better look. Something stood up from behind a boulder, its head only reaching above their knees. It had long arms that reached down past its knees and short stumpy legs that ended in sharp nails instead of toes. Its face was covered in hair that hid its features and two eyes glowed faintly through the darkness
