Standing Up for Amber

"Hey Stanley, what's up?" I said as I walked over.

"Samantha, you're here too? What about Amber and Tiff?" He asked, looking all around the park.

"They're over there, we just came from the store." Samantha said, walking over to us.

We were in the middle of a conversation when Samantha's backpack fell and spilled its contents onto the ground. I bent down to pick them up while Stanley helped her put her bag back on her shoulders. When we got up, we all looked at each other awkwardly then started laughing hysterically. We were laughing so hard that Amber and Tiffany finally walked over to see what was going on. They were laughing along with us.

After our laughter died down, we decided to walk over to Stanley's house. The whole way there, we talked about how much fun it was to hang out together again after a long summer apart. We had all grown a lot since last year and it was nice having the old gang back together again. As we approached his house, I noticed that it was dark outside but that didn't bother me because I knew his dad worked late at night most nights of the week.

When we got inside, Stanley turned on some light music in the living room and offered everyone a drink. Samantha took a bottle of water and Amber also asked for one but she chugged hers down almost instantly. Tiff took a coke and I took a glass of water because I had been drinking all day and didn't want to get drunk before dinner time. We sat down on his sofa while he poured himself some whiskey into a glass then sat down too after taking off his shoes and putting them into the shoe cabinet next to their entranceway.

We were talking about all kinds of different things when Samantha mentioned something about scary movies and how she hates them because they make her feel paranoid when she goes home alone at night or even during the day sometimes. Stanley said something like "You don't have anything to worry about anyhow because you're too fat to be kidnapped by anyone." She laughed nervously at first then stood up saying "You're an asshole Stanley." As soon as she said this she stormed out of the house but not before throwing her water bottle at him and hitting him in the head with it causing him to bleed slightly from where he was struck by it.

I followed Samantha out of the house because I wanted to make sure she was okay after being treated like that by someone who used to be her friend before he turned into an asshole who thinks he is better than everyone else around him because he can beat people up whenever he wants but can't hold down a regular job for more than two months without getting fired for stealing or doing something else against company policy under false pretenses so he could get away with it since his parents are filthy rich billionaires who think their son can do no wrong so they let him get away with anything he wants as long as he doesn't kill anyone or hurt himself while doing it so they wouldn't have to pay any medical bills even though they could easily afford those bills anyway since they don't care if they spend millions of dollars on their yachts every year or whatever else they choose to spend their money on every year instead of paying their kid's medical bills if he gets hurt while doing something stupid enough to require hospitalization or surgery after which they would most likely pay for his medical bills like normal people would do if their kid broke his arm or leg playing sports or riding a bike without wearing a helmet or whatever else people should wear when riding around places where other people are present like sidewalks or highways where cars are driving around but might hit you if you aren't careful enough so if your kid gets hit by a car when riding around places where other people are present instead of wearing safety equipment like helmets or knee pads or elbow pads or whatever else you might need if you fall off your bike while riding it around places where other people are present then maybe you shouldn't let your kid ride bikes at all unless they like spending money on unneeded equipment that could be spent somewhere else where it is needed more like feeding starving kids in Africa or somewhere else in need of food supplies that can be supplied by rich people who don't care about using their money for anything more worthwhile than buying more toys for themselves instead if using that money towards stuff like helping these kids get fed so they won't die from malnutrition."

"What?" Asked Samantha confusedly as if my brain had just overflowed from thinking too much at once which caused me to start talking without even realizing what I was saying which caused me to forget everything about my life before my brain overflowed which caused me to forget about my friends who were still sitting in Stanleys living room listening politely as I started rambling incoherently on impulse after being insulted by someone who used to be my friend until he turned into an asshole who thinks he is better than everyone else around him because he can beat people up whenever he wants but can't hold down a regular job for more than two months without getting fired for stealing or doing something else against company policy under false pretenses so he could get away with it since his parents are filthy rich billionaires who think their son can do no wrong so they let him get away with anything he wants as long as he doesn't kill anyone or hurt himself while doing it so they wouldn't have to pay any medical bills even though they could easily afford those bills anyway since they don't care if they spend millions of dollars on their yachts every year or whatever else they choose to spend their money on every year instead of paying their kid's medical bills if he gets hurt while doing something stupid enough to require hospitalization or surgery after which they would most likely pay for his medical bills like normal people would do if their kid broke his arm or leg playing sports or riding a bike without wearing a helmet or whatever else people should wear when riding around places where other people are present like sidewalks or highways where cars are driving around but might hit you if you aren't careful enough so if your kid gets hit by a car when riding around places where other people are present instead of wearing safety equipment like helmets or knee pads or elbow pads or whatever else you might need if you fall off your bike while riding it around places where other people are present then maybe you shouldn't let your kid ride bikes at all unless they like spending money on unneeded equipment that could be spent somewhere else where it is needed more like feeding starving kids in Africa or somewhere else in need of food supplies that can be supplied by rich people who don't care about using their money for anything more worthwhile than buying more toys for themselves instead if using that money towards stuff like helping these kids get fed so they won't die from malnutrition." I repeated again slowly so Samantha wouldn't miss any details this time hoping she would understand why I was ranting even though I didn't understand why myself either not until now anyway because now that I think about it maybe my brain did overflow after all considering how many times I repeated myself trying to tell Samantha what happened only now that same thing has made sense somehow lessening the burden placed upon me by this awful experience which makes me wonder how things ended up this way since now that same damn thing has made sense somehow lessening the burden placed upon me by this awful experience which makes me wonder how things ended up this way since now that same damn thing has made sense somehow lessening the burden placed upon me by this awful experience which makes me wonder how things ended up this way since now...
