The day I saw him, I knew instantly that I would fall in love with him. He had the most beautiful hazel eyes I’d ever seen- they were a strange mixture of greens and browns. His hair was light brown, but it had a reddish tint to it as well. He was tall and muscular, but not too muscular. He was just right.

I immediately started flirting with him and we hit it off right away; he told me he had a girlfriend though, so that kind of ruined things. Boy, did it ruin things! For months now I’ve been trying to get over him, but nothing has worked. No amount of wine or crying or even yoga has helped. Not one bit. Every time I see him, my heart starts beating faster and my eyes start swelling up in tears. It’s awful! The worst part is that he doesn't even like me! He *loves* his girlfriend and the only reason he even flirted with me was to make her jealous! She’s a real slut if you ask me, she always wears those short skirts and low cut shirts, showing off all of her curves while she gets felt up by other men as she dances on crowded dance floors. She even lets them take pictures of her doing these things! Honestly, who does that kind of thing? I hope she gets an STD for all the times she’s slept around behind Tyler's back. It’s disgusting how she treats him- everyone says that she cheats on him all the time without fail. And yet Tyler continues to stick around for some reason...

I need to find a way to get over this stupid crush before it ruins my life forever. Maybe talking about it will help...

"Hey Tasha! You look like you're having a rough day!" I turned around to see my friend Kaela waving at me from across the street. She made her way over to me quickly and hugged me tightly. "Well?" She asked anxiously once we broke apart from our hug. "How are you feeling?"

I sighed heavily and said "Not good, Kaela." Her face fell at my response and she wrapped her arm around my shoulder in comfort as we began walking down the sidewalk together towards our favorite coffee shop. Once we entered, Kaela led me over to our usual table near the window where we could people watch comfortably without being bothered by anyone else. Once we were seated, Kaela ordered two large mochas for us before turning back towards me with a worried expression on her face as she leaned forward in her chair slightly to speak quietly since we were sitting next to each other at the table instead of across from one another like we usually did when we met here for coffee every Saturday morning after going out clubbing Friday night together..

"So tell me: why are you feeling so awful today? What happened last night?" She asked curiously as she looked at me expectantly with wide eyes and an eager expression on her face; waiting impatiently for answers while sipping on her hot drink eagerly between questions as if trying to speed up the process of getting more information out of me faster so that she could begin solving whatever problems I had before they got any worse while simultaneously enjoying the deliciousness of her warm beverage at the same time- which is pretty impressive if you ask me considering how many skills are required to be able to do both at once successfully while also maintaining eye contact with your conversation partner while they're looking directly into your eyes instead of staring off blankly into space distractedly like most people do whenever they're thinking deeply about something important or worrying about something serious without realizing that their lack of focus can often lead to them making mistakes or forgetting something important that needs to be taken care of immediately...

"Well..." I began slowly after taking a sip from my own drink first before continuing "first you should know that there's no easy way to say this..." Kaela sat up slightly straighter in her chair as worry filled her features again when I trailed off suddenly after getting sidetracked by an interesting couple arguing outside the window against their backdrop of office buildings lit up brightly by thousands of little lights decorating the sides of each one along with the festive Christmas decorations hanging from lampposts along the sidewalk below us, drawing my attention momentarily outwards towards all of them before returning my gaze back towards Kaela expectantly when I realized that she was waiting eagerly for me to finish what I'd been saying a few seconds earlier...

"Anyway... let's go back further than last night shall we? We can start at yesterday afternoon shall we? That's when everything went downhill..."
