Inkuso's Wild Journey

"Are you sure it's safe?" I asked my father.

"Yes, Inkuso, I'm sure it's safe!" My father answered. "Now grab the medicine and let's go!"

I grabbed the medicine in the tree and we ran back to our village. A few minutes later, we arrived back at the village gate and handed over the medicine to one of the sick villagers.

"Thank you so much!" The villager said. "This will save me and my family!"

My father thanked him and we walked back to our house. I was baffled by what had just happened because I thought it was not possible for a human to climb that big tree. I kept asking my father about his secret but he always said "You'll find out when you're old enough." He told me that if I wanted to know, then I should follow him into the jungle. We walked all day until we reached a cave that was hidden behind a waterfall. My father took off his cloak and put it around my shoulders. His cloak was heavy and as soon as he put it on me, I could feel something strange happening inside of me. We were walking for a long time in the cave until we reached a small room with a small table and two chairs inside of it. I sat on one of the chairs and suddenly heard a voice say: "Welcome back, Inkuso."

"Who said that?" I asked my father.

"It's me." Said the voice again. "I am known as The Oracle."

"What are you?" Asked my father while staring at the Oracle, who was sitting across from us at the other chair in front of us.

"I am an artificial intelligence created by your ancestors thousands of years ago in order to keep this place safe." Answered The Oracle. "You are Inkuso and you are going to be different than any other person who has ever lived before or after you." He looked at me and smiled before continuing "I know who you are but you don't know who you are.. You don't even know what is inside of you.. You think that your life is boring living in this village but there is a lot more than meets the eye.. You want to know what is going on but your father doesn't want to tell you.. Why? Because he doesn't want to make you grow up faster than what he wants.. You can't deny this feeling inside of you.. This feeling inside of you is saying something else.. Something deeper.. It's saying that there is something else other than this simple life.. There is something else that lies ahead of you.. Are you ready?"
