The plane's engines roared as it made its final descent, setting down on an airstrip near the capital city of the United States. The man sitting in one of the seats on the plane was enthralled by what he saw. There were cars driving about, with people sitting inside them and talking. There were planes flying overhead, making strange noises. It was like a dream to him. He wasn't sure if he had fallen asleep during the flight, but everything around him looked different from what he remembered.

The plane's door opened and he stood up, looking around for his suitcase. After picking it up and walking off the plane, he walked toward the exit gate where a woman was standing near it. She was dressed in red boots and a blue dress that went down to her knees. Her hair was blonde and she had golden disks as earrings. He didn't know why but she seemed familiar to him... almost like a long lost friend or family member.

He walked toward her, holding out his hand in greeting. "Hello sir," she said in a soft voice as she reached out to shake his hand. "I'm Diana Prince."

"Yes ma'am," he replied politely as shook her hand gently, unsure of how much force to apply when shaking hands with a woman for the first time in his life. "My name is Steve Trevor."

"I know your name," Diana smiled gently at him before releasing his hand from her grip and turning around, gesturing for him to follow her outside onto the sidewalk leading to the parking lot where they would be able to get a cab to take them into town. "The president has been waiting for you ever since we got word that you had been captured by our forces."

"You have me?" Steve asked incredulously as he stepped out of the airport terminal building, shocked that one of their own soldiers could do such a thing to another fellow ally countryman. "How'd you do that?"

"It wasn't easy," Diana admitted as she started walking down the sidewalk away from the terminal building and toward a parking lot where cabs were waiting for customers who needed transportation into town from the airport. "But I managed to subdue you with my lasso of truth."
