Unraveling Sheba's Secrets
·
Published 3/7/2023Four fearless friends, Mwanza, Zuri, Kiera and Jefferson, embark on an African summer journey to the Iron Age ruins of Sheba City, searching for hidden secrets of the past that might help them cope with the guilt, fear, and struggles of each of their misfortunes. But what they uncover will test their strength, courage and the power of forgiveness to keep their friendships alive.
Mwanza was the first to see it. The city.

She pushed a button and suddenly a bright flash went off and dirt began to fall from one of the walls in front of them. As they peered into the dust cloud, they saw something that made their breath stop - inside one of the holes that had been created by Zuri's flash was an old metal key with an insignia on it: an iron snake coiled around an oval shaped stone with strange markings carved into it. The two symbols combined were identical to those engraved onto the metal key that Mwanza held in his hand...
