I walked down the street with a hidden smile on my face. The moon was like a giant, glowing ball of cheese and I loved it so much.

It had been a long week, but I was feeling good. The moon was shining bright tonight, my dress felt light on my back and my shoes were loose enough for me to not trip over everything.

I saw the man sitting on a wooden bench. His dark hair contrasted with his pale skin, making him look even more mysterious than he probably was. He wore black clothes and black gloves, looking like he had just escaped from an action film that I would have loved to watch.

He looked up as I approached and our eyes met. He didn't smile but I could see something flicker in his gaze. Was it happiness? Excitement? Or maybe even interest? It made my heart beat faster, but I tried to hide it by focusing on walking instead of staring at him like some kind of creep.

"Hello." His voice sounded deep and quiet, almost husky which made me think about the things that voice could do if he wanted to. My cheeks heated up as I tried to push away those thoughts from my mind; there was no way this guy could be interested in someone like me! "I've never seen you around here before."

I stopped next to him and looked at him again. He wasn't smiling but there was something friendly in his gaze now and I smiled back at him before answering: "I'm visiting actually; I took a train here and now I'm just going for a walk."

He nodded slowly and then said: "It's beautiful here, isn't it?"

I looked around us for a moment, taking in the view of the white buildings covered with vines spreading all over them and the purple grass growing from between the cracks in the stone pavement. The moon looked huge tonight, making me want to reach out for it and touch it with my fingers even though everyone knew you couldn't touch the moon because you'd fall through it. A sigh escaped my lips as I replied: "Yes… It is."

He stood up from his seat then and offered me his hand. There was no hesitation in his movements as he held out his arm toward me and asked: "Would you like to join me?" Without waiting for an answer he pulled me along with him while saying: "We can go into town, there are lots of nice shops there… And they have ice cream too!"

He winked at me then as if to confirm that last part and I laughed softly while nodding in agreement. He was right after all; ice cream sounded really good right now! We walked together while talking about various things – stars we both liked, our birthdays, what kinds of animals we liked most… We talked about everything we could think of until we finally reached one of the many restaurants standing side by side in front of a large building that seemed to belong to some sort of theater or movie studio.
