Franco de Madrid was an introspective townsperson from the nearby countryside of 14th century Europe. The quietly proud and unassuming man had become widely known in town for his good but humble nature, not to mention his sharp detective skills. At the same time, he often felt overshadowed and neglected by his family who was constantly pushing him to find a better family trade or a more respectable job.

But then one fateful day, an opportunity presented itself when Franco heard rumors that the King of Spain's maidservant had been stealing from the royal treasury, and her thievery had been going on largely unnoticed. Fascinated by the story, Franco decided to put his detective skills at work and find out if the rumors were true. Through his investigations, he was positive he could finally prove his worth to his family.

Little did he know, what started as a rumor or a mere speculation soon turned into the discover of his life. After questioning multiple witnesses, and thorough investigations, Franco alerted his childhood friends who were eager enough to provide him with the detailed evidence he needed to confirm his theory.
