Journey of the Valiant Wuxia: Seeking the Well-Rounded Living Ball

In the distant future, on the vast lands of North Africa, Elam looks up at the unpredictable breeze radiating from the west, a living creation that seemed to threaten their home. Elam, a young and sarcastic martial artist, was normally known for idly teasing his peers, yet today, something in the breeze seemed to stop him in his tracks - a feeling of direness and a fate that was his alone.

Given an ancient and impossible mission, Elam must find the Well-Rounded Living Ball if his home and his own soul are to be freed from this merciless, functional breeze. Overcoming his own inner doubts and fears, Elam embarks upon a treacherous and dangerous journey, facing many deadly foes, and seemingly insurmountable tasks alike.

Fueled by determination and valor impossible even to him, Elam eventually managed to make it to the Red Desert, the penultimate location required for his journey. Now in the presence of Saraphos, a centuries old sage and secret keeper, Elam begins to learn of a powerful lesson- true greatness usually begins with a single step, no matter how difficult it may seem.

As the true meaning of this lesson rapidly reveals itself, a discord arises would Elam's transformation be enough for the paths ahead? Reluctantly accepting his responsibility, Elam travels onward to a distant necropolis, where he must face the implications of his mission at any cost.

Arriving heartbroken and exhausted to his destination, Elam quickly learns he must battle against a near-immortal creature if he hopes to procure the living ball. After exchanging numerous blows, and with his own strength waning, Elam finds his answer hidden in his own heart. Understanding that no death, including his own, is the end, but merely another stepping stone, Elam embraces his mortality, and destroys his foe once and for all.

Rising from what seemed to be his own death, Elam is overcome with new and unexpected strength, admiring the power of true transcendence. Continuing onward, he finds the Well-Rounded Living Ball waiting for him, having foreseen his arrival. In a final pivotal moment, Elam connects with the Living Ball and with a single gesture, calms the ferocious breeze, restoring (previously) broken structures and long lost souls. After a single, long look around his newly-refreshed home, Elam realizes he could never have achieved any of this without venturing onto that long journey at the beginning. Coursing with satisfaction, but also with a perpetual fear of the unknown, Elam awaits his destiny.
