"The book... the book. It's getting closer, I can feel it."

"I know, my dear," her mother replied. "But you mustn't worry yourself with that right now."

Sabrina Carpenter closed her eyes and tried to focus on the words of the story. She had been reading with her mother ever since she could remember, and she knew that this moment was special. Sabrina sat upright in anticipation and worriedly asked: "What is it?"

I won't be around much longer..." She choked up as she said this, barely able to hold herself together while doing so. Sabrina immediately began to cry as well; she couldn't bear the thought of losing her only remaining parent in this world: Her father had passed away quite some time ago and she never really got along with his second wife anyway. Mrs. Carpenter let go of her daughter and stood up as she told her to stay where she was while she fetched something from upstairs. She couldn't trust herself anymore; after all these years keeping track of that damned book collecting dust somewhere in their house and making sure that neither of her children would find it by any means necessary... That book held all of their fates in its pages and now that Sabrina had finally read through it all... It had been too long! She couldn't continue like this any longer! She ran upstairs hurriedly; Sabrina followed suit and watched from behind as her mother rummaged around through one of the drawers beside their bed until she found what she was looking for: A small notebook full of neatly written words that was wrapped tightly with a red ribbon around it. As gently as possible, she handed it over to her daughter and told her that everything would be alright... That they would be together soon enough... In another world where nothing bad could ever happen to them ever again...
