Eva's Fight for Freedom

The drone circled the crowd. The people were all hooded, their faces covered in the white masks of the rebellion, but none of them moved. Fear kept them quiet and still. They were planning a revolt, they knew they were being watched.

The drone spun slowly overhead, its servos whirring softly as it turned. Nothing was amiss, not yet. It would report to the government in a few moments. For now it just needed to keep looking and recording. Maybe something would happen soon, something that would justify their actions and save face for the government.

“I need you to smuggle the plans out of here tonight.” Eva said, her voice a hushed whisper barely above the sound of the wind.

“Ok… Why?” Kai asked back. He was young and inexperienced, his chest puffed out by his new position in the rebellion. Eva could see him trying to look brave even underneath his mask, but she could also see he was terrified of being caught by one of their enemies; a fear he tried his best to hide from himself and from everyone else.

“We need to leave them at this drop point here.” She answered him, pointing to a spot on her crude map drawn in dirt with a stick. “Sven will meet us there once we get clear of the drones and he's sure no one is watching us anymore.”

Kai nodded, though he didn't seem convinced this plan would work. He looked around nervously again as if he expected someone might be listening even now while they were talking softly amongst themselves during this lull between songs at the gathering that night. If they had been too loud it could draw attention, but until Sven arrived nothing else really needed to be said anyway so there wasn't much choice but to let people talk quietly amongst themselves while they waited for him to arrive with his new shipment of food and supplies for their cause or risk drawing unwanted attention to themselves for being unusually silent when before they had been loudly singing about their desire for freedom from government control over their lives every week this summer until now when it was getting cold and hunting more difficult each day from October onwards like always happened in these parts of Scandinavia every year since time immemorial.

However, there were concerns raised about maintaining secrecy as Sven's supply runs were becoming more regular and the threat of someone informing the government loomed over them. It was decided that Eva would smuggle the plans out tonight because if she didn't, it might arouse suspicion given the recent change in circumstances. The group couldn't afford to lose trust within their ranks, especially with undercover agents lurking around, seemingly interested in joining the rebellion.

To ensure their safety and the success of the plan, Eva and Kai would meet at a designated rendezvous point at midnight before heading toward Sven's drop point. They would then return home separately, blending back into their normal lives without arousing any suspicions.

Following this operation, they would be taking up new roles as government employees after completing a simple interview process that Sven claimed would be an easy task for them. Little did the government know, the rebels would continue their fight, working toward their goal of achieving freedom from within the very system they sought to overthrow.
