The orcish horde marched relentlessly forward. The ground trembled with each step, a sound as if the earth was being torn asunder with each stride.

The sun rose high in the morning sky, casting long shadows and sending rays of light to illuminate the dust storm that rolled across the plains.

It had been two weeks since the orcs regained their senses after thousands of years of hibernation deep within the bowels of Mount Deathfang. Their leader, Warboss Slagfist, called forth his forces to march towards their ancestral homeland, the Black Forest. No orc knew why they had trekked across the world and fought so many battles to arrive at this particular spot, but it was all worth it now that they could see their home in the distance.

"HERE WE ARE!" roared Slagfist as he raised his axe high into the air for all to see. "WE HAVE ARRIVED AT LAST! HERE WE SHALL STAND AGAINST THE MIGHTY ELVES AND SUCCEED WHERE OUR ANCESTORS FAILED! HERE WE SHALL TAKE BACK OUR HOME!"

Orcs cheered and shouted with glee as they paraded through their enemy's lands. They were beyond excited that they had finally reached their goal; eager to begin the next stage of their campaign. The Black Forest was filled with spoils to be claimed and enemies to be slaughtered on a mass scale. This thought alone sent chills down every orc's spine. They wanted nothing more than to slaughter elves for days without end, such was their elation at finally being able to take revenge on their ancient foes.

"Today is a good day to die!" hollered Slagfist as he gazed at his horde from atop his mighty warboar. "Let us show these elves what happens when you anger an orc!"

An eruption of cheers erupted from the horde as they charged forward at a speed that would make even an elf sweat with fear. Within minutes, they stood among the trees of the Black Forest; looking upon its inhabitants who were just beginning to wake up from their slumber and realize that an army was invading their home. At first they were confused by what was taking place before them, but once they realized who had invaded them, they quickly grabbed their weapons and readied themselves for battle. The horde had finally arrived in the midst of countless elves who were now scrambling around in a panic while screaming at each other to form ranks and prepare for battle before it was too late.

Slagfist watched with great pleasure as elves ran around like chickens with their heads cut off while trying in vain to organize themselves into some sort of semblance of a fighting force. The rest of his warriors laughed hysterically as well, barely able to keep themselves from falling over from laughter. Elves were known for being quite arrogant beings who thought themselves better than everyone else, but even they could not keep up appearances when faced with certain death. It was just too funny for any orc worth his weight in gold teeth not to laugh at such a sight.*

"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE," laughed Slagfist as he watched hundreds of elves run around like headless chickens while screaming orders at one another that were too garbled to understand or hear properly over all of the chaos surrounding him."*

Helmeted heads turned towards Slagfist and his army with looks of surprise etched onto every face that saw him sitting atop his warboar laughing hysterically at those pitiful elves scrambling around like vermin trying desperately to put up some sort of resistance against his horde's might."*

"What are you laughing at?" asked one elf standing nearby." * You're outnumbered by a margin far greater than I can count on my fingers and toes! If it weren't for us having been caught unaware by your invasion, you'd have never gotten past our border guards! It's over for you orcs! So why are you laughing?" **

'Overlooked border guards? What does he mean by border guards?' thought Slagfist."*

"I am laughing because I am about to kill you all!" cried Slagfist gleefully."*

"That's madness! We outnumber you by hundreds if not thousands! You'll never get past us alive!" screamed another elf nearby."*

"We'll see about that," replied Slagfist confidently."*

As soon as he said this, every orc within earshot began charging forward towards those hapless elves who did not bother running away fast enough after discovering how outnumbered they were against their deadly foe.*

"There goes half our men again," muttered an elven soldier standing along side a group of others watching helplessly as dozens of orcs charged forward towards them."*
