Furry Love in the Mediterranean City

The sun was setting behind the mountains and the city was bustling with activity. People were carrying heavy bags or baskets, talking or laughing loudly. It was a beautiful scene, and I had hoped to enjoy it.

I looked back over my shoulder towards my lover, who was leaning against the corner of the building, watching me with a small smile. His eyes were green, like mine, but unlike mine he had pupils. They were cat-like slits that gave him an exotic look. He looked just like me in almost every way except for those eyes.

"Come on," he said softly, his voice rumbling through his chest as he spoke. "We have to get back."

I sighed and turned back to face forward, walking down the street past people I didn't know. We had been out all day shopping for supplies, which meant we'd traveled far from our home in the mountains. The sun was setting now and it would be at least an hour before we got back to the house by foot. At least I could still have a bit of fun playing with my tail while we walked.

I reached under my shirt and flipped my tail up over my shoulder so it hung down my back. My fingers trailed along its length as we walked, swirling around the end in little patterns. My tail quivered happily at my touch and I smiled to myself, beginning to run my hands along its length again, this time more vigorously. It's soft fur tickled pleasantly as I scratched and pulled at it, sending shivers of pleasure up my spine that ended in a pleasant tingle in my groin. I could feel myself growing hard just from scratching myself like this, but luckily the thought of getting home kept me close to the surface of arousal instead of inside it where I would lose all control and start rubbing myself right there on the street like an animal in heat.

My spirit guide chuckled softly next to me and I grinned guiltily at him as I satiated myself with one last tentative scratch at the base of my tail before dropping it away from me again so we could walk side by side normally. He took his hand off his hip where he'd been holding it until now and threaded his fingers through mine much like he did whenever we went out together - except this time instead of holding hands normally we both held paws in our other hands between us.

My lover's skin was cool to the touch but not cold. It felt nice against mine, which was always warm thanks to my spirit guide's presence within me - a warm sun burning brightly inside a cool body that was never able to get too hot or too cold thanks to his control over its temperature (and consequently mine). His fingers wrapped tightly around mine as we held paws, carefully keeping himself contained within me rather than letting himself flow freely into me like he used to do when he first took possession of my body - not that I minded that now either since it allowed him to make use of some of my less useful human traits such as increased strength and reflexes when necessary without having any noticeable effect on my personality or sense of self-control... For example I wasn't pawing at myself right now even though both his influence and nature encouraged him to do exactly that at every opportunity!

The sun sank lower behind the mountains until only their silhouettes could be seen against the purple sky - then they disappeared altogether as night fell upon us, plunging us into darkness while somewhere far above stars began shining down on us like millions of bright eyes looking down at us from above... The sound of running water carried on a light breeze drifted down from somewhere up ahead where there must've been a river or stream nearby. It sounded peaceful somehow, soothing after a long day in town dealing with strangers asking questions about everything from why two men who were so obviously lovers were holding paws together (we're not animals!) to how someone could possibly be both human and anthro (something about spirit guides).

"How long until you bring morning?" asked one voice quietly after a long pause during which nothing happened - just our footsteps clicking against stone carrying us closer towards home together quite peacefully despite our differences... Not that anyone would see that if they were watching us! Just two men walking hand-in-paw down the street together being gay for each other!

"Not long now," replied another voice just as quietly - then there was movement next to me and all around me suddenly! The world lit up with light suddenly as if someone had turned on many lamps all at once while simultaneously lifting all shadows away so nothing remained hidden anymore! Suddenly everything seemed clear and bright, full of color and life again just like I remembered it being when we started out on our day trip! There was no sign now of what had passed between then and now - no dark clouds overhead threatening rain or storms... No signs of dust or dirt anywhere! The streets looked clean enough for someone expecting visitors to arrive any moment now! Suddenly everyone looked well-fed again rather than gaunt or emaciated as they had been earlier today! There wasn't even any sign remaining of anything having happened here recently except for some fresh scuffs on some stones here and there where people had walked by too closely while being lost in thought or conversation with those they walked beside...
