The day that my life changed forever started like any other. I was born to a loving mother and father, who had been married for ten years before I was conceived. They had been told by their healer the child would be male and that he would be blessed with great charisma, intelligence and of course, physical strength. They were overjoyed when the boy-child was born instead of the girl-child they had hoped for, but after some time they began to notice things about me that seemed strange.

When my father tried to beat me for something I had done wrong, my mother stopped him and told him it was wrong to hit women too. Then she tried to beat me and I pushed her across the room with ease.

This continued until my father took off his belt and gave it to my mother. When she tried to hit me with it, she could not lift it off the ground because it was too heavy for her. She got angry and threw it at me but I caught it in mid-air effortlessly. She then asked me why I didn't fight back and I told her that fighting isn't always the answer.

My parents decided that this meant that I was destined for great things, so they sent me away from home to study with an old wizard nearby. It took three months before he noticed how smart I was getting so he told me that I should go back home and tell my parents that they should send me somewhere else where I can learn more than what he knows. So, I went home and told them what the wizard said and they agreed that it was a good idea. My father wanted to send me back to the same wizard but my mother wouldn't allow it because she didn't think he could teach me anything else since he only knew one type of magic. So instead they sent me south to a city called London where there is a university called Oxford where people study many different types of magic.

The journey took four days on horseback as we travelled through forests, mountains and many other places I had never seen before until we arrived at our destination around noon on the fourth day with no trouble at all except for some wolves near the border between England and Scotland but my father's knife scared them away quickly enough. When we arrived in London we were greeted by two men standing on either side of a sign advertising the university which read *Oxford University*.

We were led into a small building across from the sign which had a large sign outside saying *Office* with an arrow pointing down underneath it pointing left towards another building saying *Admissions*. We went inside and told them who we were looking for so they looked up his name in a book full of names which took them several minutes before they found mine along with my family's name written next to it. The man who found us then left his desk and brought us into another room where he sat us down in front of another man sitting behind a desk while asking us if we have any luggage left outside or anything else we needed help with before leaving us alone with him after telling us his name (I've forgotten it now unfortunately) and telling us that he would help us get settled in before sending us away once again so he could work on something else. So we stood up to leave but just as we did, Professor Johnathan Lockton walked through the door which banged against the wall loudly causing both of us to jump slightly out of our seats in surprise. He apologized profusely as he rushed over to close the door properly before turning back towards us saying "Oh gods! What have you done!" When Johnathan saw our shocked expressions he laughed louder than usual while explaining "Oh don't worry! I just thought you weren't supposed to arrive until tomorrow morning" He then reached inside one of his pockets and pulled out two small slips of paper which had our names written on them followed by 'Starts today' written underneath each one causing both myself and my father to laugh at this clever joke as well causing him to laugh even harder until tears began streaming from his eyes making him wipe them away quickly before pretending that nothing was wrong while wiping them again when he thought nobody was looking causing even more laughter from all three of us until finally he wiped away all tears from his eyes once more before smiling at us warmly saying "Well let's get you settled in shall we?" And leading us outside where his friend was waiting for him holding two large suitcases which caused all three of us (including his friend) to smile widely knowing that there would be food inside those suitcases ready for our lunch break during our long trip ahead causing Johnathan's friend to smile widely too because he knew why we were smiling so widely already too but kept quiet anyway because he knew better than anyone else how much food Mr Lockton liked bringing along whenever someone new arrived at Oxford University so there would always be something ready for lunch breaks like this one during their long journey ahead instead of having to stop somewhere else along the way or eat something un
