Dark Passage for Kylo R.

*I'm about to save the world.*

He watched, eyes flicking between the two figures. The two were in a small clearing in the woods surrounding the school. It was a rare sight to see one of them here, especially alone. They never left their territory alone.

He was sure it was an ambush, but he'd feel guilty if he ran away and left her to be killed. And so he stood in the shadows, hidden from view as best he could manage. He'd only seen them from afar before... but this is his chance to save someone else! Even if they would probably kill him too if they caught him.

They circled each other slowly, neither making any moves. The tension built as they closed in. One of them lunged forward, claws extended and fangs bared. The other dodged out of the way and struck at their exposed flank with a flaming sword.

The first dragon dodged that as well, spinning around and slamming its tail into the second dragon's side while they were still off-balance from their failed attack. It grunted in pain and rolled away just as its attacker came at them again, jaws open wide and ready to bite down on their neck-

A stream of flame erupted from the grass between them, forcing the aggressor back with extreme heat that scorched the ground for several feet around it. It roared in pain, flames licking at its chest where the flames had scorched it badly.

"What are you doing here?!" The second dragon bellowed angrily in a deep voice that vibrated through Kylo's entire body. It sounded familiar... but he couldn't place it at all.

"I could ask you the same thing." The first said sarcastically, laughing despite the pain she was obviously in from her injuries. "Are you just going to stand there or are you going to help?" She asked with a smirk on her face that looked nothing like Kylo had ever seen on a dragon before- or any animal for that matter- except maybe when she'd been eating something delicious.

He didn't hesitate for even a moment longer than that smile had lasted before coming out of hiding and running toward them both with his arms outstretched toward the first figure who was now unfortunately looking directly at him. They couldn't know what he looked like! He was already committed now though... he had to try this! He would save them both! He didn't have time to think about what he was doing anymore as everything rushed past him at blinding speed- first there was shouting... then there wasn't anything anymore except darkness... and then there was light again? Was that really all just one thought?
