Larry and the LlamaLand Adventure

The sun was setting as the llama made her way through the forest. She had been walking all day, and she was tired.

"I wonder if there's a llama hotel or llama inn or something in this town."

The llama entered the town, which was full of people. She noticed that they were all quite tall, and that they walked with a strange gait; it seemed their feet did not quite reach the ground. She wondered at this.

She wandered down the street, looking for a place to sleep for the night. Finally she saw a sign that read "Llama Inn", and she went inside. The innkeeper greeted her warmly.

"Hello, my dear," he said in a thick accent she found hard to understand. "You are most certainly a beautiful llama."

"Thank you," said the llama, who was used to compliments about her appearance from the time she spent with humans. "I am looking for a room for the night."

"Of course! You must be very tired from your long journey! This is a room, but I fear it will not do your figure justice. It is not very big." The innkeeper turned around and pointed at a tiny door that seemed to cling to one of his walls. The doorway was so small that it looked like it would only allow one leg through at a time.

"This... this is my room?" asked the llama incredulously. "But I cannot fit my body through this!"

"Yes, 'fraid so," said the innkeeper sadly. "It's all I have left." He sighed heavily while he went to get some food for his guest.

The next morning, after an uncomfortable night sleeping on her side in such a small space, the llama asked if she could stay another night at his inn before continuing her journey deeper into town. The innkeeper graciously agreed, and offered her breakfast before she left. However, just as he had predicted last night, he could only offer her another tiny room with a tiny doorway leading out of it, and once again warned her that she would have no trouble fitting inside but would be unable to leave except by crawling on her belly like an earthworm if she tried to walk out of it normally. After taking up residence in it for another torturous night of sleeping on her side while trying to avoid draping herself over any sharp corners or protrusions inside with which she might injure herself accidentally while sleeping and keeping away from any equally sharp protrusions outside that might injure her even more painfully if they poked inward into where she lay during the night, in spite of all these difficulties the llama decided nevertheless that this truly bizarre arrangement was acceptable enough for now and started off early again in hopes of making some progress before too many hours passed without breakfast or rest while making efforts to keep herself well fed and rested along the way before then having no choice but to endure further punishment by spending another night confined within yet another similarly sized box-like structure when she arrived wherever her travels took her next evening; however soon after beginning her journey again she happened upon an unexpectedly large open area of land where numerous other people were also gathered together in large numbers enjoying themselves by engaging in various kinds of activity together, including many other animals besides just humans who were engaged in similar activities as well as human beings alone including both men and women who were doing similar things as well as different things all their own, some of them engaged together doing similar things together even though others appeared to be doing different things all by themselves; as soon as she arrived within sight of this open area everyone there stopped what they were doing just long enough to stare at her curiously before resuming whatever they had been doing just moments ago without so much as pausing while continuing staring at her curiously out of their peripheral vision until finally one particularly tall man happened upon her suddenly standing there surrounded by everyone else without warning while walking directly toward where she was standing now among everyone else without warning while staring back at him curiously until suddenly he bumped right into someone else and knocked him flying so hard that person fell flat on his face flat on his back and skidded across the dirt several meters before stopping three meters away from where he began sliding across the ground and then rolling twice more before finally stopping still once more lying flat on his back although no longer moving anywhere else anymore now after being knocked down by someone walking directly toward where he happened to be standing among everyone else without warning when that same stranger suddenly walked straight into him without seeing him first although clearly looking straight forward at nothing instead while walking directly toward where that other stranger happened to be standing among everyone else instead before bumping right into him just now so hard that person flew like someone shot out of a cannonball launched straight forward instead sideways instead backward instead straight up into the air instead downward instead sideway outward instead diagonally outward instead diagonally inward instead horizontally outward instead almost straight up again instead horizontally again instead straight down again but now lying flat on his back although no longer moving anywhere else anymore now after being knocked over sideways onto his back flat on his back by someone who walked directly toward where he happened to be standing among everyone else without warning when that same stranger suddenly walked straight into him without seeing him first although clearly looking straight forward at nothing instead while walking directly toward where that other stranger happened to be standing among everyone else instead before bumping right into him just now so hard that person flew like someone shot out of a cannonball launched straight forward sideways backward upward downward sideway outward diagonally outward diagonally inward horizontally outward almost straight up again horizontally again straight down again but now lying flat on his back although no longer moving anywhere else anymore other but stood up because he felt dizzy instead fast because everything was spinning circles around him more than ever because everything kept changing places more than ever because everything was spinning round-and-round sometimes or spinning-and-spinning always like everything had gone mad sometimes or moving slowly sometimes or moving fast sometimes or disappearing totally sometimes or blinking stars appearing everywhere often times maybe forever maybe always never leaving never showing up never blinking lights appearing everywhere often times maybe forever maybe always never
